Thanks for the kind and supportive words, homies. This has been one pretty interesting trip, amirite? I'm glad I could share my grow with all of you. First bowl or joint I smoke (of the new stuff) will be in honor of all you guys. Definitely couldn't have done any of the growing without ICmag.com, well, mostly you guys. Thanks!!!

Suppp, darwin! For sure, lady bugs hella take care of mites, especially when there are like, 500 lad bugs for 2 plants! Hahahhaha. I can get 1500 for 10 bucks at the local gardening store. Wayyy worth it. There was quite a bit of damage from spidermites, and the lady bugs prevented it from spreading much more. Neem and lady bugs are the way to go.

Lol, yeah, next week. I figured around 8 weeks is good. Amirite? I mean, assuming the trichs are ready, and whatnot. Next Wednesday is week 6, so I was planning to flush for 2 weeks. Does that seem sufficient? I dunno. I just rode to the park to have a smoke, and I'm ripped. Hard to jump shit when you're high. Hahah.
lol yeah 2 weeks sounds good. You got molasses? Works great in the flush water although I like to do the last week with just water.

I could get some molasses, but I think I'll just stick with water now. I'm kinda getting antsy. I want this shit done before I have to move back to my parents house for the summer, which I'm trying to avoid by getting a job. Hahaha.

Ahhh. I'm freakin' out guys. I've got some gnarly powdery mildew coming up, and I don't want it going into the buds. WHAT SHOULD I DO? It's week 6 now so I'm not really sure what I can do.

Well, so far, it's only really affecting one plant. The plant with the small buds. I'm going to say that's a good thing. They are in week 6, week 7 starts Wednesday. Flushing with straight tap water. pH is relatively neutral.
The PM doesn't look too terribly bad, so I think I'll just wait and see how things go. On the plus side, it's only on the plant with the smallest amount of flowers, so I'm not really tripping to hard, yet.
Pictures of the PM (You can't really see it all that well on most of the pictures. Sorry. It's the whiter spots. Those aren't just trichomes).
Here's a little extra. My Grape Ape seedlings in my "veg cab". It's more of a crappy cabinet, duct tapped till it wouldn't wiggle apart. Hahah. Oh, what duct tape can do for the structural reinforcement of a crappy cabinet. The little seedling in the Jiffy is my Jiffy Challenge entry. Woop!

Oh, on top of the PM, the leaves are starting to get crumbly and shit. I think it's just cause it's been getting so hot around here, so inside the Rubbermaids, it's been getting way hot. Almost 90 the other day. I just wanna get them outta there so I can clean up, and start again. Maybe a small, 1 plant DWC setup next time? I bet I could fit like, at least 2 like, 2 gallon buckets in the cab. That would be so rad.

heat is obviously your problem here, you should grab a tiny air conditioner or something, keep it nice and low in there.
you need almost nothing to make a DWC its amazing how easy these things are to build.
all ive had to do is add water to mine every second day, and my plant is growing like nutz!
cant wait too see some pics maybe. and hear more about your future plans.

Sup Christoph. The temp's been pretty high the last like, week around 4 PM when it get's pretty hot. It's been cool since about Friday, so I'm not tripping anymore. But anyhow, I'm plannin' on doing a single DWC as soon as I harvest my two goin' right now. I'm going to try and get like, a 2 gallon bucket with a lid soon. I need to reorganize for the next grow, maybe sanitize, and maybe move it into my bedroom. I dunno. Next time around I'm definitely throwing the lights on during the night so it stays cool.

the best thing too do would be to go too a pet shop, and say, if your going to use a 2 gallon, that you want to airate a 8 gallon fish tank, and they will tell you what you need. you just gotta times your size by 4.
also you always wanna sanitise and clean everything after every grow, even clean it while your growing, i having it in your room would be nice, i like it because i can check on them really quick when i go to sleep, and when i wake up, ill have that mental picture, and i can judge how much it grew over the 12 hours i was asleep!
