Hiya imnotcrazy
Smokin all day - what a wonderful luxury! Ask Keefhead to load the vape with some of his 75 micron hash - it cuts through whatever I've been smoking - kinda like the last booster stage on the shuttle
First time growing SensiStar, don't know much about it except that it's considered great knock down weed - good for late night meds. Do me a favor? School me - what's the Ogre pheno like? You'll see another shot of them tonight - they smell very grape-y, moreso than the lifesaver pheno I have which is also smelling like grapes.
Here comes an update - and my plants surprise me again....
The G99-4 that I put into flower a week ago showed male. Ignored her a few days then next I know she's a he. Took a couple cuttings for clones - after all he is a vigorous healthy grower and taller than his siblings but with that great G13 thick stem goodness, maybe pollen for the future. Also took 4 branches and put them in water to try getting pollen to use next month on lower branches of the female G99s
So a space opens up in the flower cab. Except the powerskunks everything in veg is mostly indica and either stretches minimally or not at all - I'd like to get these at least 2' and preferably 3' tall before flowering them. 2 of the Powerskunks were in the 2' range already and 1.5-2x stretch would put them right at the limits of the cabinet. Took a closer look at GPB's favorite PS-3, another male with just the beginning of little juevos showing on the oldest branches. Ok, he gets trimmed back and put off to the side - will save him for the time being but not in the prime light area. PS-2 was chosen to put to flower, freeing up 2 pots worth of space under the MH light.
So the veg area now looks like this
The short SBBX1-1 is a slowpoke for sure, but bushing up nicely.
18" tall now, going to start cheering her on - Grow Grow Grow Grow
And on to the flowering plants.
LS1 / SS1, LS2 / SS2, Trainwreck day 37 flower
Looking real good, the TW looks to finish the earliest of the bunch, but I don't think any will go much more than 55-60 days.
My friend from OG Oscar Meyer had it, Was just an extremely high yeilder I think nothing special other than that. I had it for a while from a different source. Oscar had gifted a cut to Tripnoncid from Tokecity he'd know more than me. I lost those moms before I got to flower her out
Hiya T.doT.Toker
Thx mate! This cut can be taken as early as 42-45 days and still be good, although yield will improve until around 8-9 weeks. I've had it go longer, but it was because I stressed the plant.
Thanks for stoppin in, help yourself to some refreshments - plenty to eat, drink, vape!
MGJ if you got the sensi star from a club it's sensi star not ogre. The clubs also have ogre cuts.
The sensi star is a fruity lemony smell where the ogre is skunkier. The Ogre is a better yeilder, but I think the sensi star is better smoke. IMHO. I had both last year.
Hiya Major
Thanks man! Getting some grape smell - but not krushed grape like you're growin - krushed grape makes for fine grappa :friends: Can see it now, Major's Canna Grappa, get a case for the holidays!
Hiya Garlic
Wow, thx for clearing that up my friend! Yes it's a sensi star club clone, and it does smell very fruity - my nose smells grape now but that could easily change some.
On the RapidRooters, most of them went in on 11/17 so it's only been a few days - should take 2-3 weeks no? Amazing how spongy and airy they are!
Hiya -VT-
Thx my friend! Well, more lazyness than patience, having a good harvest this summer sure helped - have just enough to last until these are pulled and cured a month.
Hiya TML
Gotta G99 in the back of my 'stang, thought she was a girl now turns out she's a mang; got them G99 trans-whatchamacallit blues
I must be missing early telltale signs of maleness in the preflowers. No problem, as long as they show early in flower... I suspected a had a few more - was nowhere near 50/50 M/F. Very close on the 10 females, down to 9 now in the veg area waiting to flower out. You must have a high metaclorian count my young padwah to see the future of sex indeed...
The RapidRooters so far are very easy, much easier than changing out the bubbler or aerocloner every day or two. Guess we'll know in a couple weeks - I'm optimistic, they sure have a lot of sponginess and air capacity even after soaking them!
I've read that there are a couple different Trainwreck strains. I've only come across this med club clone which I think is the Arcata Trainwreck.
Budshot update day 38 flower:
Lifesaver
SensiStar
Trainwreck
The Lifesaver and the SensiStar buds are getting heavy enough that I may have to put in more stakes to hold them up. The trainwreck is roughly 20% cloudy now. I think another 10 days will be enough, one more feeding for her to fatten her up then just water with a little seaweed.
Aye Captn - but dey ahr dylithium crystals sirh, so although you be blind you be moving outta the way fast..... Thanks Sleepy! BTW Barbie told me to pass on an invite out left, she'll pick you up at the airport in her jeep!
Oh, another BTW, haven't gotten the new BH books yet, but got a copy of Battle of Corrin which I hadn't read yet. Can see it's gonna be a Dune holiday season... going out looking for the new ones today.
Hiya GMT!
Thanks much my friend! I could be wrong, but giving them one dose of Budswell guano tea with molasses during transition is what did it. I simplified my nutes, PBPB and CalMag+ main ferts, with Algamic ( seaweed ) and water in between feedings, so I can't give the credit to any of the fancy popular additives. Gonna give them one more dose of Budswell tomorrow. You add organics into your soil - probably could do the same with any of the high phosphate birdie guanos mixed into the flowering soil mix.
But then again it could be the orientation of the sun and the stars for all I know As long as it smokes well
