Yea irrigation controllers and zones work better when the garden is symmetrically arranged and organized, since your pots are kind of spaced out I would echo BYF and use PC drip line and put your wells and pumps higher up so that gravity will help boost the psi in the lines. 1" main to 1/2" drip and you should be good to go.
