Ancient OG test:

Ancient OG test:

This just proves sc labs has far too inferior of a testing method to consider it legit compared to steep hill's... gas versus liquid if I recall correctly.

Seems like nor cal dispensaries sun grown is better because of the testing methods and so much being around as it is. Actually nor cal ones just seem better as a whole lol.

I spocked that ancient in capitola when I saw the % (as it was their highest) and was kinda shocked... the gg4 i got weeks before was only 6% more and a chill batch of goji was 5% less but both were better. Must mean we were doing 35-40% exteriors on oahu lol.
our Ancient OG tested the highest of all SC Labs' samples of that strain both indoors and out. It's funny because they tested the less-frosty of our two Ancient OG phenos. I bet the big plant is over 30%

here's a link to the test:

I think its important to compare apples to apples. We all know SC tests are always about 5-9% higher than steep hill, but as long as you know the lab doing the test, the results are still usefull for both patients and growers. Most clubs use only one lab, and SC has sort of cornered the market through their partnership with weed maps. Personally I have both labs test products so I have a point of reference low and high.
that's smart. I don't get my stuff tested usually but i have only ever used SC Labs. everything we gave to KindPeoples they got tested at SC, and Drue Bleam is friends with a guy at SC Labs so we get tests at a discount. IDK why some people hate on SC Labs, i guess they have nothing better to think about.

hey there schrews been following along all year and i have got to say it has been really inspiring to watch. im currently living in the 831 but im really looking to relocate to the gold country area due to the high price of living in sc and also the great weather up there in gold country. also just trying to get away from all the bs of living around a bunch of idiots here in town.thank you for posting everything along the way it really showed me my dream of doing this is possible. hopefully we will be able to meet and burn one at the emerald cup or when you come down to the 831!

The both use Hplc.
This is from SC labs "Full spectrum cannabinoid profiling and analysis utilizing High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC/DAD)"

But the may get their reference samples from different companies.

Hi Shcrews, I see you have the "Honey Banana" by Elemental. How did it grow out? I have 1 of those going now, day 61 from seed. She did damn good for a long time, now this past week and a half she is a bit droopy. Green and beautiful, but a slight droop and a couple of leaves cupping (canoeing) downward, and a couple of the tips are pointing down too. It's not BAD, but, I can not figure this girl out! I have dropped my nutes on her and all. Flushing tonight and see what she does. She is in a 2.5 gal Hempy pot; 5:1 Perlite/Vermiculite; bottom 2" res is Hydroton. Get's watered (fed) daily. I am using the KISS method with GH MaxiBloom only. I am on Well water that comes out of the tap @190 ppm's. She get's pH'd to 5.8......... Any advise? Any notes form your grow with her? How was her smoke?

Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

we put some of our seed starts in the 400g pots today. They have been in little pots for too long, and The weather has been nice. The plants already look better in their new homes. Some of them might be male, but most were showing hairs.

(1) Royal Kush s1 - from my indoor garden

(1) Professor Chaos - TGA/subcool

(1) Sour Bubble - B.O.G. Genetics

(1) Flo x OG - Rare Dankness / Moonshine

(1) Honey Banana - Elemental Seeds (anyone have info on this strain?)

(1) Peach Dream - Elemental Seeds (also know nothing about this strain)

(2) Sweet & Sour Cindy99 - B.O.G. Genetics

(5) Pre-Soviet Afghani x Uncirculated OG - Source Genetics / OG Kushman

I took some pictures of the seed starts before we transplanted them, i will post those too

If you start doing a little now you won't be rushed are you going to put a drip system or still water like a slave this year

work starts after the L.A. cup..
drip is the plan, trying to get everything figured out so i can have it in place by june. Will probably be tricky since the pots are scattered across the hllside.

good seeing you at the emerald cup bro. peace

I haven't been on the boards for sometime but way to kill it Shcrews. Why not just keep hand watering and not bother with the drip after the amazing results? I remember posting way back in this thread that the plants will take kind to the love you give them hand watering. I know it takes time hand watering but they sure do appreciate it. way to grow sir.

handwatering from my well takes 15 minutes per 800. so 24 plants will take 6 hours. Last year i had another person to help but this time i will probably do most of it myself, so i can't spend that much time watering when there are lots of other things that need to be done in the garden as well.

if i can find someone to live on the farm and water everyday then i won't do a drip, but its always tricky finding the right person who can handle the mountain grower life

Even if you have some one live there you should have them watering with a drip system then you'll have the time to support and prune your plants so more of them yield big numbers... 6 hours a day watering is a waste of some ones life...

If some one only valued my time worthwhile only to water, I probably wouldn't be happy working for them.

my buddy last year didn't mind handwatering but that was more like 3-4 hours. then he got to chill the rest of the day.. 6 hours is beyond fucked.

setting up drip system might be weird, my garden is randomly scattered across a big hillside so i will have to have different sections/zones or something. i dnt really know shit so it willl be fun.
