They had come up here before to serve previous owners, not much we could do about that. We do have a gate, we had just arrived back on the property.
FUCK. YEAH.
But perfect for Mr. Deputy Do Fuck. Community hero.
yah the situation could be worse. but our plans for light dep are cancelled. oh well..Not to bad. I hate when people are vague about important stuff like that. Are you still gonna do light dep ?
one always has the option of not opening the door... but the first time the sheriff came, our gate was locked and he just parked his jeep and walked up to our house.im curious if you had the option of not opening the door when they showed up?
also can you gate off your driveway? id throw up a gate and a no trespassing sign. fuck em
that is a good idea. But is it better to double and triple plant a big smart pot, or just shoot for single monsters?you may want to consider double or triple planting containers...if you feel like you could get away with it.
you cant really tell once they grow into each other,
an idea, but may be risky if the pigs are nosy
I'm pretty much over Blue Dream, although it has its time and place. I think we are gonna try to grow 36 monster Gorilla Glues and seed plants. I'm thinking 2 yards of soil per plant, and maybe a few plants in 200gallons of coco.36 is pretty good.
You can just make bigger pots , grow all blue dream , and still get over 200 ...
we have been at this spot pretty much full-time for a year. but that still makes us newcomers in this county... Plenty of water. Never met the neighbors they aren't exactly close. Are you guys full time at this property?
Around here they mess with the people who aren't locals and who steal water.
Are you cool with your neighbors? If you're off the beaten path the most likely scenario is they either called up on you and said the growers next door are back or they flew over and saw you were back and remember your scene from their last visit
I think everything will work out fine... only thing that changes is our plans for light dep and late-season plots. we will just have to crush it with our full season plants.Things will work out bro. I'm rooting for you guys.
They're going to try and catch you guys doing something they don't like so they can get their hands in your pockets. You've just got to keep it cool and clean They're like rats under the table, waiting for you to drop some crumbs. Larger plots like your guys, could always benefit from having a lawyer on your side. Don't know if its in the budget but they aren't to expensive to evaluate your situation and give you guidance on what you can and can't get away with. Especially with that property being red flagged. What some bullshit for you guys to have to suffer from.
Bet they wouldn't be tripping if you had a vineyard planted on the side of that hill.
Be carefull of fake compliance officers coming to your door planning on doing a home invasion and taking your material. Thats the problem with not having a warrent to search and count plants. It could be anyone in a rent-an-outfit.
You can grow those plants as big as you wish. I would start them now indoors under as much light as you got, in as big a pots as you got, and veg them to 4' bushes before putting them outside in 200gln pots. That way you get 7-10 lbs a plant.
backyard farmer: i made it pretty clear that i am over the blue dream, as are my buyers . I aint here to show off, i been on icmag for years soaking up info. But you are right, i made this thread to show people what we are doing. If you arent interested then Peace Out!Are you growing this garden for your head stash?
Seems like the perfect time and place for Blue Dream is when you need every plant to yield 8+ LBs because you can only have 36 of them.
Gorilla Glue is cool but will probably leave you with a bunch of golden/brown herb when done up out side...Most diesel type plants hate the dry heat that extends in to the fall in North East California...
You guys just seem to want to post this thread to show people what you're doing not consider advice from people who have experience dealing with some of the issues you're now facing.
Won't see another peep from this Backyard Farmer the rest of the season.
Big up and best of luck..
What we are attempting is only possible with help from many good people. But yah, the driving gets old..Busy Busy Busy Busy Busy! I WISH I had that much work. But maybe not spread out.
So Cal runs can get annoying.
As an unexpected result of our recent encounter with the police we have decided to expand Motherlode Gardens. The farm will be only for large outdoor plants until we get proper legal advice telling us otherwise. We have started a new facility in (831) for moms and clones, and two separate properties in (951) one for indoors one for outdoors.
This leaves myself and Drue Bleam in charge of 4 different gardens so it should be a very productive year. I anticipate spending a lot of time in a rental car driving around cali. Stay tuned...
Haha no worries , i dont think you r hating, just offering advice. Thank you! And i agree that GG4 is still basically untested. However i really enjoy it and will for sure dedicate a few pots to the glue. We also have a plethora of seeds that are being germinated as we speak ( see the beginning of this thread)... Clones we are considering include cherry pie , Hardcore OG, and like i said GG4. But i just might listen to ya and grow a couple producer clones like trainwreck or blue dreamIf you run the numbers you really can't get a better return than blue dream offers. If you grow it well instead of blasting it with chem ferts it actually smells really bomb instead of like hay. I think the GG4 will be like chem4 outside with the potential to be whispy if it gets hot, plus 99% of people don't know what it is and won't pay a premium for it, you'd be better off just doing sour, I wouldn't do either. Green crack, afgoo, trainwreck, xj13 some good performing alternatives to BD, but you I'm sure you will use whatever you have available and do ok anyway. Just suggestions not hating.
