It's probably going to vary a lot from season to season - even a shaded garage will build up heat in the summer and get cold in the winter, unless it's well-insulated and/or connected to your house's heating/cooling system. What may work in the winter might be totally inadequate in the summer months, so you might want to take that into consideration.

I'd probably go a little overkill with the fan and dial it back with a speed controller. That way you can always increase the fan speed if you need more ventilation. And insulated ducting, bungee cords (or other vibration reducing tricks), and a box for the fan will all help with the noise too.

Get a s&p 6" fan..... It's the td -200

High or low settings and can be used on a dimmer....

Better yet get the growtek tv2 and hook it to fan and shit will be completely silent when lights out and roll with the ambient temps when lights on

Can fan is waaaaayyyy too noisy if u want quiet get a s&p 6" you will love it.... I have 3 hahaha

Put a normal ceiling light dimmer and your most silent fan and it'll no longer be most silent. Those things make electric motors vibrate in a very noisy way so you need a proper voltage stepping transformer or variac to avoid that (and motor lasts longer).
