Skunk#1 for smokers.
Northern Lights for breeders with Blueberry and Haze catching up.
Do I hear Burmese calling in the distance???

;)

ok so the skunk #1 has influenced a lot of smokers but what has influenced the world of cannabis even more. Afghani, yes thats right. Skunk #1 wouldn't be around without it, Hash trade in ancient times certainly wouldn't have flourished without Afghani, we wouldn't still cross things back to afghani all the time if it wasn't. Need a shorter phenotype in your genes....breed something Afghani into it. We might be coming out of this phase right now but I know we all feel the effects of the Afghani in almost 80% of the bud grown. Most people are trying to make money, so as a result they grow afghani-sativa hybrids for the yield and short season. Think of how many strains have skunk #1 in it, well theres Afghani influencing a lot of those plants too.

when i first came across Skunk i was told that it came out of an attempt to breed back to the original Afghani Kush - anyone know he truth of this ? if its true then maybe i should have voted for Afghani !

Thats a no then - thanks for dispelling that urban myth for me Hybrid :)

I think SK#1 is 25% Afghani, 50% Columbian Gold and 25% Acupulco Gold, so that makes it 75%Sativa and 25%Indica

Afghani. It's influential in that it's been used in so many different crosses. When you're talkin indica dross, lots of Afghani sloatin around. And besides, it grew so darn well for me as my first "serious" crop. :)

Kabul Cook ( note to the authorities, I cooked cook am not really from Kabul, it was a play on words involving the Afghan bud, I'm just a plain ol American whiteboy. Don't buy foreign bud- support American Growers!
