I would stop her right now for colour..because the purple/green combo does it for me too..
(she reminds me of a Clematis I bred...)
BUT..
I have the feeling that she is going to black up...
she is simply in transition.

With the sun going down behind her..she looks like a rainbow herself.

the non-af pheno IS the black/gold from the JEM that I was telling you about and I want you to see how it Morphs..
It is amazing...(for me anyway..)
I SUSPECT that I have two colour ways developing in there..the b/g and the creeping purple.
I'd love to have your opinion on it.

The first black non-af..was MY least favourite smoke that I have found in the JEM gene-pool.
Very distinct absolute classic Kush.

The first black AF is one of my Very favourites..deep down dirty earthy Afghan.
Not taste tested yet..but knowing the smell..I KNOW what she will be like.

Not sure what the new non-af's will be like..
BUT I SUSPECT from her colouring..I'm gonna get my diiirty afghan..
If not..she might take a shuffle during the rolls to hyb..
At the end of the day..I'd rather have an Ugly bud with a cracking taste
than a beautiful bud with none.
But..
no-one said it had to be either or...

That photo of the purple plant with the green just surrounding center buds is magnificent!!! I could fill a huge garden with these, as I already grow a purple sweet potato my Filipino MIL gave me & the two would blend so nicely!

I have seen some dark ones on the true blacks and I know our Friend Black Magic has done some brilliant work with his Black..
but I haven't picked upon one that is as purple/black as this..OR in AF..so I have my fingers crossed.

Just interested as I have a purple russian on the go using the JEM for the purple..and WR AF
and purple heart..which has white widow in..and JEM for the purple.

Mossy - I am so with you on the cold forcing hibernation. If I let myself get chilled thru, I end up in a fetal position with full body muscle spasm... Unable to get warm again...

Hint - Keep a nice bottle of white port on hand. A "short snort of port" can really help keep that chill at bay when you have to dash out to the garden & back!

Our bill was "bumped" from the JC's hearing list this week due to another bill being listed in duplicate. Whether that was a mistake or intentional error I do not yet know... But it effectively cancelled our rally for Wednesday. We may squeak by & get in on Thursday, but that is not likely.

What torques me is that our Judiciary Committee apparently cares more about hearing arguments re video bingo & online gambling than STOPPING THE ARREST & PERSECUTION OF SICK PEOPLE!

We're taking a different tack - guerilla warfare now.

Trying to contact SnoopDogg & his entourage for a benefit concert for ACC down in Mobile at the university... Price of a ticket? $20 PLUS a completed, verified (I'll do the verifying) Referendum form demanding the issue be placed on the November ballot! I think we'll have a good turnout from the young'uns down here...

Working on another musical benefit to draw in the old folks as well - Old Crow Medicine Show, Dr. Hook, Levon Helm, Willie Nelson & some other bluegrass legends... same deal as above...

Also digging up dirt on our Gov. Riley, JC & Rules Committee (pays to be prepared)... We will be doing impromptu TV interviews of the JC, asking them why they feel other issues are more important than helping sick people in Alabama...

Hope your health improves with the warm weather to come... You're always welcome should you decide to bake yer buns in Alabama, ya know! By the time the gators become active next month, the weather will definitely favor you!
