and the runt, transplanted into a 3 gallon pot a little late but i think she needed the room going into bloom. seems to grow a lighter green than anything else in the garden even with heavy nitrogen so i think it's just genetic.

week 4 update

week 4 update

thanks thinman and Retardo for checking in on me. following is the week 4 update:

first up is the pheno i like the least so far. it's the second tallest of the group, quite branchy, but the smell are of the generic weed type. not schwag by any means, but just more generic compared to the other ones, including the runt.

pheno 2

pheno 2

next is probably my favorite of the group in terms of an all around great plant. it is the shortest of the normal growers, just as branchy as the pheno above, great early trich production, a bubblegum/apricot/light skunk aroma, and looks like it will be the best yielder of the group.

TBG-- Very good looking plants bro! I know what you mean by generic smelling! But give them time-- because by the time your girls finish up they will smell of a Sweet & Skunky aroma! The wonderful Skunkiness comes from the Warlock momma-- She packs a Skunk/Punch!!

Following close by!

Cheers,

Mosca

pheno 3

pheno 3

this pheno is running neck and neck with pheno 2 as far as being my favorite. it's basically the same when it comes to trich production and aroma with this one being only slightly smellier/sharper. branching and bud size is similar to that of pheno 1. it's the tallest of the normal growers as i didn't top it. it was pretty much equal height until flowered. also, she is probably the pickiest feeder of the group and requires slightly less ferts, probably feeds the same as the runt which is half the size.

ha ha. how's it going Mosca, didn't see you creep in there. i'm looking forward to seeing these finish up. i had a ph fluctuation with the new nutes that i'm using that i didn't notice until they had single feeding with it. something told me to just check ph levels as i haven't used my ph meter in a couple years and i wanted to be sure. so after a quick calibration, ph levels of the nutes were off by almost 1.5 pts. i think i caught it in time that it may not have caused that much damage, but i will be keeping a closer eye on it now that my meter is calibrated and back in use.

the runt

the runt

the runt would also be a contender for my favorite if she had grown normally. she has the most unique smell of the whole group and trich production has extended onto some of the larger fans. i don't know if she will grow out of the abnormal growth or not as i didn't get a chance to take clones but i will try a reveg.

late update

late update

sorry for the delay guys, slip of the mind. here's a quick update to fill everyone in. this was supposed to be week 5 update but it's closer to week 6, so more like week 5 -1/2:smokeit:

again, first up is my least favorite, still kind of generic in the smell department, but it is intensifying nicely as she matures.

the short yielder

the short yielder

next is the short branchy pheno. her colas are filling in solidly, moreso than all the others with long fat colas. i did find a nanner at the very tip of ONE cola and quickly pulled it, time to check for light leaks. :dunno:

temps are hard to control as we've had a cold spell where i've had to turn the exhaust fan on/off manually just to keep temps in check. times like this make me wish i had a fan speed controller. this pheno is also getting some very light purple on the very tips of a few buds, most likely due to temps. she smells devine and should fill out nicely.
