Update: While I haven't bothered with a tissue analysis, I can tell my efforts to reduce media pH and increase micros is paying off. I had 10 Mango Haze ladies that all had aborted buds. Shriveled up calyxes with no white pistils or new growth. Just dead in their tracks.
Its been 20 days since I made my previous post, and 8 of my ten Mango Haze moms are flowering again. Ive got a couple that are still in really bad shape, but they may pull out of it like the others. Some of the Mango Haze are throwing out lots of white pistils and flowering great. The tops of the plants still haven't caught up to the lower branches of the plants, but its only a matter of time.
Ive got some pics to share too. You'll see the progression of flowering on the Mango Hazes. The last couple pics is Skunkman Haze/Skunk and she went through the same symptoms but is rocking now. Micro deficiencies take forever to recover from especially when media pH is high. I generally expect improvement by the end of 2 weeks, but this has taken around 3 for most.
If you have the same problems as Ive had, its not a virus. Your not supplying enough Micros and possibly Ca. Which Micros I can't tell you exactly, but for all of them, I had barely acceptable levels or deficient levels on my last soil test.
