The further splitting is a concern for sure. Even if I'm careful when handling them, the tops will get heavier and a cause a strain exactly there. Maybe some support would be good.

The wounds I get on myself seem to heal faster and fight infections much better when exposed to air and light rather than being bandaged up. Not sure how well that translates to plants.
It will probably heal well, but if you close the wound the tissue will re attach itself and the stem will be much stronger than staying split. But if you wanna leave it like that why not, I'd be curious to see the result.

Lets leave them open for science. It's an experimental grow in many ways anyway.. Kids, don't try this at home! Wait no, kids - do try this at home, adults - don't try this at work!

Here is the other split.

And the main top of the most vigorous (not split) girl. Really hope this one is a high-THC (type I) chemotype.

Welcome @Montana199 ! That is a beautiful Beldia and really healthy as well. I like the bud shape. Not that I don't like big buds as much as the next guy but it's not what a Moroccan landrace looks like in my mind's eye. This is.

One of mine is maybe similar in that sense, but different in the way it's growing in a columnar pattern and not branching out. I have just failed to keep her as happy as you. In fact seems to be the most finicky one of the lot.. Hence the autumn colors in the middle of summer.

And wow seeds develop fast on this. Same top from above (Friday) when there were none to be seen..

Hola @dubi and all, do you think it's still feasible to plant beldia now? Germinating sativa outdoors in this period is not a problem at 45N, but I have no experience with this genetics...
Thanks

Some kind of half-callus seems to be the result..

Sorry for the delay in the reply @willydread you can germinate long flowering sativas late since they keep growing easily till September and in 3 months can get big enough. But short flowering semi autoflowering genetics like Beldia need to be planted in its correct moment (depending on latitude) in spring for best yield results. If germinated too early outdoors (say Feb-early March) Beldia can easily start to flower and spoil growth stage, while if planted too late they start to flower too early and small and yield will be low.

Welcome @Montana199 :) Thanks for sharing pics of your beautiful Beldia female, late June and already flowering! She will finish by first half of August. Please, keep us updated!

Love the colors, shape and resins on your Moroccans @goingrey ;) One boy and 4 females right ?
Would love to read your comments on each one and their differences!
Yep, 4 girls and a boy, that's correct.

Very beautiful colors indeed. Temps have been around +20c day and night which isn't that cold, so possibly the reason is just a failure on my part to keep up with the pregnancy cravings.

One of the girls is taller and bigger budded than the rest. Very impressive plant even the stalk is strong. Still quite green.

But it is the smallest plant that speaks to me the most. Fan leaves are already going, if seeds weren't being made I would probably harvest it soon, but this time have to go with the seeds. OTOH is also reflowering a little.

Then there are the two self-toppers. One more colorful than the other.

Not much smell on any of them even with a stem rub. Obviously I haven't exactly grown them to their full potential in this LED coco setup, but even if I had pretty sure it would be a low odor variety.

Looking forward to experimenting with the kif. Will it do anything smoked in a pipe without tobacco, how about a full vape bowl..

Hi guys,

This my last season guerrilla grow (sumler 2022).
I had 2 nearby spots. Lat 45 France.
The spots were bordering the village so i could go only at night hence the pictures...
1st spot : 3 Beldias, 3 CBD1.
2nd spot : 2 Lebanese, 4 Nepal Annapurna.
Organic, only compost.
Dry-grown. I had to water from mid-August though to fuel flowering.
Soil : deep with clay, silt, limestone. Like prairie, rich in nutrients, Good water retention, pH 6,5.

On pic 4 an animal ate my biggest Beldia a wildboar most certainly... She was a monster on tracks too go over 2 meters... even the 2 others were damaged. The second behind was half eaten from the bottom... Nonetheless, it recovered like a beast and delivered her huge main cola, as promised. Really tough genetics. The hardiest of my 4 varieties, even more drought resistant than the Lebanese !

They were planted mid-may and the animal attack was mid-june.
I harvested end of September because of the drought flowering was stopped, I guess I lost like 2 weeks. Then after watering them regularly, all finished smoothly...

The flowers are very floral and into mint tea.
The high is quite strong, rather narcotic than cerebral, I find it rougher than the Lebanese that is quite strong but smoother both physically and cerebrally, the Beldia hits like a hammer, it s brutal.
The effect is quite short-lived though like the Lebanese.

It has a distinct personality, real roughness and resilience, a warrior plant ;)

Thank you so much for sharing pics of each one @goingrey :) love it!
Beldia plants are usually far to be smelly like Afghani modern based genetics such as Skunk or Kush, they usually have very discreet smells in flowering, more stealth for those growers worries by smells in flowering.
Also, a heavily pollinated plant doesn't hold the terps like same plant unseeded.
