Moroccan Beldia Kif

I really like to read when people writes their ganja-related journeys in the lands from where the strain comes. The info you guys give almost always spark my interest about the strain (even tho I just invested in some other landrace offered by ACE and I won't be buying this one in particular soon. But could be a consideration for the future).

As Tyrion Lannister said: There's nothing more powerfull in the world than a good history.
Here's another one for you: I was in Morocco a few months back, staying in Agadir and travelling out a few days at a time. Three days in I managed to score some hash and when I got back to the hotel, kids in bed already the wife and I sat on the balcony and laid into it pretty heavy. Proper stuff: blonde, crumbles easily without burning it, and no ceiling. Smoked way too much and was still high the following morning.
It was like being transported back to the 90's as we used to get this from a pal back then and the quality was and seems still is second to none. It's funny as I smoke all sorts but Moroccan hash is for me the original laughing gear and that high I've been chasing for years. I've grabbed a couple of packs and will be keeping this permanently in my roster from now on.

Notes for anyone travelling there in the future: lots of cops, travelling through the mountains there's a number of roadblocks and people will get searched. Get it near your hotel and don't carry it around if you're travelling outside the area you're staying. If you're caught it's a night in jail or a fine.
Also watch your back at night when you're out and about, less cops but more grifters looking to make money outta tourists. Found this out when a couple of guys tried to strong arm me while walking with my family @ 10pm. Wasn't a fun time for me or the two twats. Thankfully my wife took the kids back to the hotel while I dealt with the situation so her and the kids missed the worst of it.

To me it's a good observation, blackberries need enough water to survive and even more to thrive so that sounds like a great micro climate that already offers some natural protection for the plants. You're not going to know for sure without trying it.
I'm in Aragon too but not in the north and here it's very dry in summer as well.

If you'd happen to have some pollen of the beldia that you don't plan on using I would be interested. Otherwise I might have to get some seeds for next year myself.

Quality old school moroccan hash has always been a favorite and I noticed that it has really changed over time although I don't smoke it regularly anymore because of this. It's interesting to learn that the traditional strains were 100% sativa confirming her effects.

Thanks Dubi for the work you are doing saving and spreading around so much genetics that should not get lost in time.

I agree with you @All Cacti Are Beautiful The traditional Moroccan were started to be massively replaced by 2000 when Moroccan farmers introduced what they call Pakistani. After that, introduction of Dutch and American genetics have been rampant.

Robert Clarke defined the Moroccan as an old cross between sativas and ruderalis, and i think he's correct.

The Moroccan would do great in July-August in the hot arid Aragon climate.
