Predator mites

I have used 2 different store bought sprays, one is neem and pyrethium, and the other an insecticidal soap. The neem seemed to work a little better than the soap, but neither of them got rid of the mites. I then tried a homemade brew that I got off this site, and I did not rinse the plants well enough, and got some burning on the leaves. I think I have found the solution, Predator mites. Got to www.benemite.com They have several different types of mites that will work depending on where you are growing( inside, outside, greenhouse) and the enviroment(hot warm dry humid). I called and talked to Barbara and she is really nice and knowledgable and is happy to help figure out which mites are best for your plants. I am going to order these on Monday for overnite delivery. I will start a new thread after I get the mites and let you know how they are working.

ive tried the bugs, an ass load of them, still didnt work, thats why i personally use pest strips and dont spray anymore, cuz they cost 6 bucks each, dont leave residue on your plant, the chemical takes 1-2 weeks to break down, the dichlorvos i mean, and no funky spray taste.

Well my war is still underway. I got mites and gnats from a set of clones a few months ago and its been an off and on battle. I have tried sprays and powders and trashed a plant or two since one powder had too many chemicals.

I went last night and got two hot shot no pest strips. hung one up in C24 flower chamber and another in my veg room. Hopefully this will do the trick

Questions though. Dos the pest strips kill them or make them wantt o get away? I hope it kills them. and if so how quivkly will i see them die?

The NPS kills them...but it might take a few nights of the plants being sealed up with them to do much on the mites.

Found a couple of 2 spotted mites the other night in my setup from a friends outdoor plant that he kept at my place for a couple of days (he didn't tell me was an outdoor plant until he picked em up :bat:) and hit them with a spray of Avid...30 minutes later the problem was dealt with and they are now gone from all plants.

You can't play around with these bastards...just hit em hard and quick and be done with it.
