A couple of weeks ago, I uploaded some random photos but as I was on a mobile device I couldn't copy and paste the links from the album, and then it slipped my mind, so here we go.

Outdoors, we put in a late run of plants after the autos, the livers in this g'house had been vegging for 2-3 weeks inside
picture.php

And last winter we started a project with that cut above ^ to make it auto - and here are the f1's being grown out - whilst in 1.5 liter pots here
picture.php

The best were selected and potted up into 7 litres, and after a few days flipped to 12/12
picture.php

Now at the point of pollination, i'll update with some photos of those next.

Here's just a random bag of seeds of a new limited edition hybrid between two strains in our catalogue. 'heisenberg special' - Walter white x 24 carat

Next photos in a moment.

Tonight I made my selections from the Sour Livers F1's from the room, I chose just two to pollinate to make the f2's.
The first is Sour dominant, but with an amazing smell from the livers, it's putting out all kinds of funk!
Fast development of flowers, very vigorous, and stretched nicely. Nice trichome coverage too.
This was a fairly typical phenotype to emerge, there's about 25% like this, but this was my favourite from those.

The second, was more squat, less branchy, and at first glance pretty indica looking, bud the flower structure is more similar to the Livers at this stage of development.
And it has narrower leaves emerging and finer serrations to them as she's getting on. There were less of this phenotype from the room, just a couple, and this was my chosen lady.

Hey guys,

Bit of progress, Here was one of the selections for the artisanal auto project, Auto blues x the livers F1 - indoor

picture.php

picture.php

There's a beautifully rank blueberry smell coming off these, stays on your fingers all night!

Today i've been walking around eyeing up seed grown photoperiods to begin new projects with, We have a yeti og cut, but here's a really nice one from seed in the greenhouse.

Pretty hard to contain these girls, they were super cropped, bent, tied, topped/fimmed everything, and they are still at the ceiling.

Ideally i'd like to pollinate with our currently most OG dominant auto, I have pollen from our artisanal auto project Auto triangle ogk x Bear OG which would be my preference to pollinate this Yeti og with, however it's been on ice for a couple of months and when there's storms here the power and therefore freezer goes off too, so incase it's no longer viable, I have fresh pollen from our Auto triangle kush. So we'll cross our fingers and see. With F1 seeds from either cross I wouldn't be dissapointed.

Cheers, mitch

I have been hearing about the livers for some time now as being one of the few "berry" varieties that can rival the real MOB. So I find this project very interesting. Have you had the pleasure of trying both?

Sorry I've tried that! The livers is a hard one to put your finger on, sometimes it smells very berry like and sweet, then at times more rank and offensive.

Today i've been out and done the following pollinations:

GG#4 x Ripley's OG
GG#4 x Grape Crinkle
Chem4d x chemdogging
Yeti OG x Auto Triangle Kush
Yeti OG x Bear OG
Casey's x SODK
Super Lemon Haze x SODK
Super Lemon Haze x SKywalker Auto

Fingers crossed we get some seeds to play with from all of those.

I'm also going to make ECSD x Sour Stomper, and ECSD x SODK, those cuts are indoors and been into 12/12 for about a week.

Cheers, mitch

Sorry you have tried what? I am confused by your post. The Mob has a fruity top, and a floral/afghan bottom. Outdoors the floral comes out more.

ah that is what I assumed but wanted to clarify. She is a special lady. She finishes quite early outdoors on her own, even not being a auto. Usually one of the first down. Seen lots of it flowering outdoor already in July. Quite susceptible to photoperiod change in the least. I always veg moms and all, of her under 16/8 always and especially when they are going out.

Hey mitch, have you grown out any of the heisenberg cross? Got any pics or description of how these are turning out? Where is the best place to find a list of your limited edition crosses available to the public? I dont see anything on your website under the seedlist link...

Nothing yet DJ they've been gifted out as freebies and as testers to some, so hopefully the reviews and reports will start trickling in soon!
If all is well there then we could look into releasing some as a limited edition.
Cheers Mitch

This has been an awesome read Mitch! Much respect! I fall into that category of having never given autos the time of day and thinking very little of them...BUT after reading this I think I may have to try some of yours out. After all, can't knock it till ya try it.

Do you think you might be able to expand a little bit about your seed storage process? Do you let them dry for a certain period of time after they have been sorted and before they head into the fridge? Any going into a freezer for longer term storage?

Also what is the time frame from when you spray your autos with STS to the time you can collect pollen?
