Yes, I know. They stretched. It was out of my control, and it happened in under 18 hours. They are under better lighting now obviously.

The short ones are where i wanted them, the other ones blew up real fast.

Thanks for coming by everyone. Hope to see some good stuff.

This pic was taken 7 days after poppin out of the soil. About 4 of them have the purple on the undersides. Anyone else get that?

Peace and *bong* :friends:

I've got four going in their second week. Two of the four have that purpling under the leaves. Mine look really similar to yours.

The G-13 seedline I'm working with has that trait.
On all of the sprouts though, and it's closer to black, but mostly on the stem and coyteldon leaves...

HOLY SHIT!! those r the leggiest seedlings ive EVR seen!! good God man, lower those lites down!

Dude, some seedlings stretch, regardless of light.

I mostly just want brownies due to the consistency of your rooting plugs.

First off, many thanks to JLP for this opportunity....four of four above ground. Second, these are the "leggiest" seedings in my limited experience, yes, I'm afraid to breath around them at this point. Shasta

Hey guys, mine have the purple undersides as well, not as much as those pictured above, but closer to the stem and base of the leaf. I will post some pics again soon.

Here are some pics to help you guys discern g-13 phenotypes.
The second pic with clones against seedlings exhibits the two phenotypes inherent to the g-13 seedline....
enjoy.... And remember most the people talking dirt about g-13, have no pictures to back thier words..

BYW i realize JLP's version is a BX and I know of JLP's mutation...
I respect JLP fully, and appreciate the work he does in our community.
thanks JLP, nice work.

I did a search, but can't find much on G-13 phenos. Spell it out with your pic, brutha. I like colorful lines and diagrams.

love the g-13 and love sharing any info on her.
I'll dig up some pictures, mutants and the two phenotypes I experienced. Basically a heavier branching "crown" style bush. And a less branchier main cola type phenotype.
IMHO, basically what one would expect to find in a landrace (or heirloom) afghani indica...
Also the mutation, which has heavier branching with heavier buds.. (Ha ha ha if you could call g-13 buds heavy that is )

These are mixed strains.Cola dominant variety G-13 is at right.

ooops thats my TW mother who got ripped that summer.

these are the infamous five males used for breeding the "five male mix" during the first pure g-13 breeding session (first for me)

The two phenos cab be seen. The clone at bottom right best represents the bushier "crown style" plant pheno. The two at top right represent the "main cola dominant" variety of afghani...

here is the mutant in flower

As you could see by the males but may not have noticed. In a normal veg the leaves are fat. During flower they get really thin. During re-veg they also get thin....
This is the mutant re-vegging...
:woohoo:

Here are some rare pictures outdoor, guerilla growing them before they got discovered by the landlord. Last year was a bummer, I lost these and had to actually point one of these babies out to a sheriff as he asked if there were more of them. Fortunatly I had three moms down by the house which i got to keep because I wasn't guerilla growing them.
Basic bottom line for me became "keep it inside your fireline" at this point..
I have been way too paranoid to post these never before seen pictures, taken in the sierra foothills in my yard...
Damitt jim they were doing so good up on the ridgetop...
Believe it or not the first pic is the main cola dominant one..I believe she acts a little different outdoor. More testing is due this year....
But she does have a predominant cola still, just better branching outdoor than in...
The next two pics are the crown style, with the sideshot to denote how there is not really an apparrent main cola.
At this time both were in 4 gal pots..... The same cuttings from earlier pics..
They were just taking hold underground when discovered....

From what i'm seeing...
(jlp's and my g-13 are different BTW)
The best early indicator of the G-13 phenotype's is going to be the purple stems and leaf undersides....
JLP may be able to confirm this for a solid. (I never tried a M.Jam grow)
The picture of the six seedlings above- are the two in the middle the purple ones? NOTE the purpling on any of the smaller ones please- for yourself.
A mutation inherent to the G-13 line may appear.
Generally mutants are slower starters.
So The four on the outside- Are any of those purple?
If so mark it.. The best chance for a mutant would be here- or within the ones which explode sideways and up fairly equally.
I you get a mutation it should have a higher cannabinoid content...
Not sure about the g-13 triploid mutation- That's JLP's baby and he will have to let us know if the content of that girl is different.
But the sport mutations (nevilles cut was a sport) will have a higer content.
This seems to breed through also..( more testing needed there)
hop this helps

BTW devilock..
The top picture in the post I clipped, It has the two rows right.
The top one I was noticing there inbetween the other two.
There that one in the middle.. I'll pray she's a female...
She looks a bit mutated in the fashion of my sports...
If it's a male I'll definetly want to see some of your dust to blow my way..
