IMO..passing water/continuous drip is where it is at.
The plants you are both getting seem to bear that out.
I love the growth patterns..
okay..okay..it's the Buds..I love the fat buds.

ATM I am experimenting with clay pots..more of a pain than plastic..
but I am convinced they give better results..mainly because the water can evaporate..and the roots get better oxygenation.
I am a chronic overwaterer..
Hydro could correct my mistakes..

and I saw one of his original crosses..it may have been the purple thai..
It looked the nearest I have seen to your unusual purple stalk..maybe yours has blueberry genes too.
What kind of smell do you have on her?

Right now they're in the "produce" smelling stage....almost ready for the jars but not quite yet, so the smell hasn't totally come out...I'm still waiting for the offical taste test from this set of clones. The mom was very sweet and fruity(not to sound generic), and it only got better with age. It almost smells like wine. It's funny how people compare wine with cannabis, but it's so true....the flavors, both smell and taste really become much more complex w/a couple of months aging in jars.....

Slickster had asked me via pm,...if it was grapefruit, to which I replied no,...but this morning over a cup of coffee and a bottom bud that was dry, I tried my first joint with this batch,...did the usual dry hit and the first thing that popped into my mind was grapefruit!!! ...so let me get back to everyone when the buds can be fairly judged.....

...and mossy, if you have any more questions on my system...feel free to pm me and I'll give you the lowdown based on my experience using it....

He was absolutely spot on with mine..

Now here is where it gets interesting..
My Own crosses are DJ Shorts..and I have a V sweet pheno..which smells like neat Ribena..
and I have a less sweet one..
hard fruit smell..red-currant..white currant ..
that smells Exactly like wine..
sound familliar..?
could be on the right track..

I KNOW my crosses perform better in hydro..I just haven't tried it yet..

Great news on the Mud#1 smoke..she laid me out...
I had her when she was just dried..and she was very nice..
energy giving..buzzing..and she made you feel very happy..
I had her down as an excellent daytime/uplift

I tried a bit after cure...Man..she kicked lumps out of me..
(It sometimes happens when I change bud)

so I cut the doseage..and persevered..
and is she Worth It..
Mind expanding..buzzing..energy giving..and she makes you feel as if you are glowing with good health and happiness..but not giggle juice..
she makes you feel smug with it..
Which is EXACTLY the high I have been chasing through My Crosses..
could be fortuitous...


My Mud/maz f1 cross on the right..(white bud)..
and a hybrid sister of the male I crossed her with..(purple bud)
You can see the family resemblence..

Heres a pic of one i took down last night. Some of the calyxes towards the top started turning purple and its been really warm here. Suprised me. Im pretty sure its a blueberry pheno but i could be wrong. I let it go 72 days. Would have gone longer but im totally dry atm.

Hahahah mossy you guessed right. I think you described the high perfectly in your other post. Except mine seems to have the giggle juice in it lol. Very uplifting feel good medicine. Almost like an anti depressant.

My Mud#2 is well into full flower..despite the crap weather..she is trying hard.
I like a tough plant.

As you can see..she is the Perfect size for my conditions..
and she is putting a lot into the buds..without an overlarge frame..
V little wasteage.
I think she was germed about 10th June..so she is not quite 3 months.

there ya go . the one that is more mature may be gettin chopped in 1-2 weeks it has retained that fruit jam/jelly fragrance ...the othe one is a little spicy /earthy smelling with a very light fruit fragrance trying to get through ....may all be well , hidingtree
