i just have to agree with a few people THIS is the smoothest smoke i have ever had hands down. i am not as experienced as some of you guys but i have grown 4-5 different strains and i am happy with this strain i grew it in soil and gave it floronova and florobloom very lightly. It gave me good dense nugs my mudds tended to look alot like what brainthor posted as far as looks go, i didnt have a working camera during growth but im sure i could find one for a few bud shots as im sure i am obligated to do..

i guess ill have to get some better shots up soon

I'm so jealous man..Love the shots of what you have going on outdoors..you people getting to grow in an open enviroment rule!! I'm unfortunately in a non-medicinal friendly locale, and in the city....sigh.... Anyway, great grow you got going outdoors!! best of luck to you and your ladies...

Day 47 of flower...
These were taken at day 56
....Just a little bit of information I've discovered from growing this strain...
Seems to be 2 harvest opportunities provided the plants suffer no stress...indoors anyway...@ week 6-7 and 9-10... I went for ten weeks the first time w/the mom, but the clones are mature a good week or two before. At day 58 my ladies are ready...but the 2 week flush wiil take me to day 63... I can't wait...hehe...
One thing I'd recommend to anyone growing this strain indoors is odor control....I've got it, but I'm still running into issues....mainly my own paranoia ...

Been too hot, actually. Got about 3 ft monsters going into flower. There will be alot of tying down going on. Wish me luck. Plants look good, guys. germankid6

One other characteristic I thought I'd bring up are the purple stems and stalks....
Are any of you experiencing tha purps??....all my plants have exhibited purple stalks and stems, but I haven't had any problems period with development, stress, or yield.....they just keep piling on the trichomes and mass, so I believe this is just a genetic trait of this strain..... Night time temps are in the low 60sF, and the sunshine brings them up to between 70F and 77F during the later part of the day....

Those fat colas are great..but that purple is something else.
I had no colour in my original mud females..stems and stalks...but I had a male showing red flower..and a slight blue/lavender on mud#1 bud as she went over.
My mud/maz f1 has the red leaf stalks..but I was attributing that to the red/cream maz male.
My mud/maz f1..have a look at her Saw leaves...she is starting to put the exact same leaf on as her Mother...same density of bud..I am so excited...just the trics to go..
This is what I would have wanted out of the cross..just didn't expect to get it so fast..
Vash..3 ft-r's with the density of Mud...
Guess you will be hibernating this winter...
How long are you going to flower them for..or is it just watch and see?
I haven't done a lot with lighted grows..but I have a couple of girls in my grow cupboard (dark) at night..to give them 12/12..and I am dead impressed.
It really pulls the bud runs in..

i have two muds in veg that are going on two feet tall and i will flower them soon...i want to see how big she will get i have not vegged her this long yet...should turn out real nice..peace...and it is some dense bud

Mossy, I can wait that long - I think. I got some Bubblegum that I'll be toking to pass the time away. As far as a cross, not yet. I was trying to figure out who I wanted to cross her with and couldn't make up my mind. Hopefully, I can find me a nice SD IBL male on my next run to cross that MM with. What you think?

midlife .... not sure what to cross it with .... i have 2 females of mud with two pheno types som mm f2's definitely .... some early pearl x mississippi mud . and sour dieselx mississippi mud ..... and whatever else i can think of . due to limited space , it'll be a while so i hope this pollen stores successfully . many blessings to all . ~hidingtree

Vash..I would go with a strong/stable IBL over anything for her..
The more stable your base crosses..the better the results.
IMO..
On my Mud#1..
The Slickster gave up loads of time to help me pin-point the dom of my girl..
which helped me pick the best male I had available at the time for her....
and the results appear to back the choice up.
The Mud#2 was more random..but..since they were My F3's..I still had an idea what I was putting in.
so I have an idea What to expect out.
If you Know your Pollen donor well..
it is a lot easier to pick out the good and bad points that the Cross brings to the mix.
Plus..
the offer still stands..
I would certainly recommend the Mud#1 cross...
and I have some #2's out to test..
so I may see results before the end of the outdoor season.
