Here are my plants a couple weeks later. Gotta say Im pretty disappointed in the organic nutes Im trying this year. Not sure if I did something wrong, but my plants grown with chem nutes last year did much better. Im sure nice plants can be grown organically, but I must have done something wrong, or the PH is off or something.... Anyway I have 2 of these varieties in each location and today I sprayed one of each with STS spray and also fertilized that plant with floranova liquid nutes. I didnt spray the whole plants, just 1 branch. These are just starting to flower, I hope they put on some stretch still, but Im not sure if they will. They are about 40 days since planted from seed, so probably about 36 above ground. More than anything Id like to get a few seeds off these for future use.

I find the chemical ferts better for guerrilla as well. Unless you replace all the soil with a prepared balanced organic mix or prep the ground a good mouth before so they have time to break down.
When did you plant the other plants compared to these? They are about twice as big right?

Looking great, DJ! I've seen a few young deer this year. Wasn't able to get a shot like that though! I have good luck with espoma garden tone fertilizer. Its a mixture of organics feeding all macro and micro nutrients. Also contains beneficial micro-organism innoculants! Never have a problem. Several times I have mixed a cup or 2 into the native soil and did nothing the rest of the year. Its good to top dress a couple times, once per month, during growth.

Should yield pretty well from those tall ones. See any preflowers?

what kind of organic nutes are u using? im not using bottled organic nutes. i have a really well built soil and its banging for me this year! this is my first year trying organic as well so i wanted to get the full effect of organics so i could give a fair review vs my chems grow. as of right now i will be making the switch after this season to 100% all living soil plots. its so easy man and the plants grow so well and healthy. the best thing i hear about a great soil mix is that each year that goes by it gets better and better. Also from what i have read u dont need to worry about PH. i havent checked the PH at all on the organic or chemical plots and my plants look great, everthing is nice and green and growing sweet, but i did mix some oyster shell flour and i use ful-humic from bioag weekly along with ful-power. from my understanding of humic/fulvic acids they will balance the Ph for u or make all the nutrients more avaliable to the plants.

Measured with 4.5gal GV laundry detergent bucket
½ bucket alfalfa pellets (sprinkled with 1 gallon river water to moisten) 2-1-2
1 bucket coffee grounds sifted 2.2-.06-.6
1 bucket composted rabbit manure sifted 2-1.3-1.2
½ bucket soybean meal 7-2-1
1 bag espoma garden tone 8lbs 3-4-4
1 bag espoma biotone starter 4lbs 4-3-3
1 bag bone meal 3lbs 6-9-7
3 tbsp zinc sulfate
6 tbsp epsom salt
12 cups gypsum

This is the mix I made, I mixed 2 cups / gallon of pro mix organic potting soil and used 1/2 gallon of this super soil / hole for the autos pictured and 1 gallon / hole for the photos. I dug the holes for the photos larger than the autos, but I didnt measure them at all. I know this isnt ideal, but I didnt want to mail order anything and we have no dedicated hydro shops near me so access to exotic amendments is limited. Holes were all dug at least 2 weeks before planting. I stored the nutrient mixture in a 35 gallon garbage bin and it has molded and was quite hot for a while but a lot of the moisture has escaped and its cooled down now.

lol im in the same boat as u i dont have a hydro store within 2hrs of me either. i used buildasoil and just bought the living soil mix instead of trying to mix my own. i figured if i would have tried it mix it up i would have fked it up major. i see a few things that u missed out on that is major from my understanding is kelp meal, earthworm castings, crab meal and something to aierate the root zone like pumice, rice hulls or perlite. this could have been ur issue bro from it not working right. here is the mix mine are in and they are banging! check the link below for the ClackamasCoots mix which is what im using but i opted to buy mine already mixed so i didnt have to cook it and fkk things up but next year i will get the CC kit since its cheaper then me buying living soil shipped to my addy. i only did 4 plants in 100% living soil so it was cheap to buy it and try it out. hope things turn around for u brother!

1/2 Part Worm Power

1/2 Part Oly Mountain Fish Compost

1 Part Sphagnum Peat Moss

2/3 Part Pumice

1/3 Part Rice Hulls

Now with 5% Pre-Charged Colorado Bio Char!!

Nutrients included in the soil:
Acadian Kelp Meal @ 1/2 Cup per cubic foot

Neem Cake @ 1/2 cup per cubic foot

Crustacean Meal @ 1/2 cup per cubic foot

Brix Blend Basalt @ 2 Cups Per Cubic Foot

Gypsum Dust @ 1 Cup Per Cubic Foot

Went out and dumped some water/nutes on my photo gals this morning. My nicest plants are the seeds I got from Mephisto but they arent flowering yet. Im starting to get a little concerned because on average we are 2 months from our first hard frost in this area. They werent specifically outdoor plants, but supposedly they did well in northern europe for a friend of Mitch's. 2 in this picture, these are fem seeds so I dont need to worry about males. Pulled all the tops off these plants to try to keep them from outgrowing the vegetation around them...

These are amnesia haze and Cindys Blue Cheese from OGS. I pulled one male already and there are a couple more that look like they are going to be boys, but some definite girls also, which is nice to see. One has very purple stems, which I didnt notice last time I was out there, 2 weeks ago. Seems healthy otherwise.

Sprayed the 2 farthest along with STS, just on one marked lower branch. Hoping to get some fem seeds out of these.

Plants are looking happy! They blend in very well. Doesn't seem like they mind a little competition. I think that Garden tone works great I've used it for about 10 years. Thats all you really need. Maybe dolomitic lime every coupe years. I get a 40 lb bag for $28.

It scares me to try and cook the soil in a trash can. Don't want it to wet or without air. A week or 2 in the ground and its good. Actually with that garden tone you can do a cup or 2 in the hole and plant the same day. It seems fine!

Do you find that 1-2c of tone is enough nutes to keep plants going through flower? Do you supplement with chemical nutes later in the season? My photo plants seem to be doing good with organic nutes, but some of my autos didnt put on size as fast as I think they should have. Thinking about maybe using organics for photos next year and chems for the autos.

The photos were started under lights mid may and put out about june 1, the autos were planted direct from seed june 1, so the photos have a pretty good head start. My tallest photos are about 5ft now, Ive been topping them to try to keep the height down, once I see flowers start I quit pinching tops tho. 3 of my photos are flowering pretty good now and the 2 farthest along I sprayed with STS to create some flowers to get some fem seed. Once they drop a bit of pollen I will cut that branch off and discard it so I dont end up with MILLIONS of seeds and no bud from those plants. I dont wanna mess around with male plants again so feminized seeds are the deal for me. My 6 nicest photos arent showing pistils at all yet, which worries me, they might end up being destroyed because not worth the risk of having them if they wont produce anything by mid/late sept.

Have you tried the STS outdoors before. I'll be watching with interest to see the results.
Sounds like your around the same latitude as me. Hopefully we have a long warm fall so we can finish.

I havent tried STS outdoors but I did it on a small indoor grow this spring, on a single branch on 2 different plants and it worked great. I sprayed once a week for about 3 weeks and got a lot of flowers but I read that you dont have to reapply that often, so outdoors Im doing once every 2 weeks, should only take 2 applications Im hoping. I have 2 spots with 5 different varieties in each, 2 of each variety close to each other, the different varieties are spaced at least 100 yards from each other (to hopefully limit hybridization) and Im spraying the nicest of the 2 different plants, just one branch, which is marked with a twisty tie. This should give me plenty of seeds if the reversal works. Once I see pollen dropping, i will snip that branch and allow the plant to keep producing unpollinated flowers while the seeds mature, should give me some material to vape also and PLENTY of seeds for next year, all feminized of course :)

Checked a few plants this weekend. First I have some pics of my Mephisto Autos, they didnt get big, but well into flowering and looking pretty frosty. I have some at a different site, same varieties but they got a lot larger. Probably didnt amend the soil correctly for these. My reversals arent doing well, probably cuz I havent been spraying sts enough, should do once a week and its been 3 weeks for these. I did take some feminized toof decay auto pollen along and sprinkled one side branch on each of these to see if I can get a few seeds at least.

My photos arent doing so well, not sure if this is normal or if I need to bump my nutrients a bit. Maybe I should still be feeding grow instead of bloom ferts also? I have been giving them half strength flora nova bloom, in a ACT with some molasses a hand full of manure/compost per 5 gallons. I know plants will yellow as they mature, but these are looking 2 yellow for where they are I think. What do you guys think?
These are some testers gifted to me from a friend, they havent even started flowering yet, so I think they are going to be scrapped soon, only 2 months left before we start freezing at night.

Here is one of my OGS photos, its about 2 weeks into flower, also starting to yellow more than I would like to see at this point. :S

Hope you see some flowers soon. I know what you mean about the freeze coming. It's hard to believe today because its 28C- 82F but in 2 months or so frost. Your plants are looking good. A little yellow is not a bad thing for us 2 much Nitrogen can delay flowering.
Best of luck with the rest of the season.
Stay safe
Peace GG

feminized seeds are the way to go when u are guerilla growing. after i discovered fem seeds thats all i will grow now. its to much work and to much money to waste plots and holes dealing with male plants. if i was a breeder then i would have a different outlook but i would rather leave that job up to the pros

Last picture I posted, seems like leaves are curling a bit, is this a sign of water deficiency? I hadnt been to that location for a couple weeks and its been pretty hot. I think Im gonna increase the nutes I have been giving these plants, see if I can get them out of their yellow leaf funk....

Curious if you guys feed every time you go out, or just if they look hungry? Ive been dumping some water/fert on them every time I go out, which is usually once every week or two. My photos look deficient to me, but some of my autos seem like they might be overfed, cupping leaves, etc.
