Hello all. I haven't kept up with this thread much lately, but I hope everyone is well. With a lot of reading and a few stoner epiphanies, I think I'm finally starting to get a handle on things. Plants have had to endure a number of things (lack of ventilation, treating coco like soil, 1000w impossible to cool, etc) but are bouncing back rather nicely I reckon.
These pictures kind of suck, just cell phone shots uploaded to the album which reduces them even further. Anyhow, first shot is of the group, with mostly males and only one confirmed female (right in the center). Strains consist of Sour Boggle (BOG), Swiss Cheese (Nirvana) and Piledriver (Goji OG x GDP) x Blue Magoo BX2 (Mace genetics).
This second picture is of the poorly timed (not entirely true) backups, Starbud (feminized) by Hortilab.
The first set of plants just reached sexual maturity with most unfortunately presenting as males. One lucky lady with many a suitor to choose from (though she'll never get to make that choice
). Right around 7-8 weeks from seed, but I think they would be much bigger if I knew what I was doing. The Starbud I recently popped (almost 2 weeks from pre-soak) because I wasn't sure if the rest would turn around and because I wanted some confirmed females to fill up the tent and get 'em flipped over soon as possible..

Perhaps that nug is in a low wind/warm area.
Its definately not due to heat. My high temp is only 80 with 40%hum. Not too much notrogen as the leaves are yellow a week before flush...ill ne cropping either way on monday. Day 72.
39 days on my soil room. Tahoe og and gsc s1.

sometimes its just genetic. And when that's the case the foxtailed bud can be just as good as any of the best quality herbs. When u try a quality strain that does it naturally u will know what I mean.
Condition wise, nutrient wise there are no issues, this strain just does it. I went light on the nutrients. for most of the flower period i was right around 400ppm. 450 for days 50 to 60 and flush with ph water for 12. It stacks like that on one or 2 plants but still bulks up and continues putting on frost.
