Well, for all intense and purposes, my shop is cleaner than it’s ever been and more organized. Now I get to tear it apart again. When I’m done with my medical trifecta this next two weeks, I have intentions of taking each one of them out and getting them spot on… I’m going to be cutting the back half of the frame of my 61 bubble top so I need to make sure all the cars are out of the way because the cutting torch will spit fire… All in all, it was a good day, but I’m still underachieving… I believe once they clear my femoral arteries I should be good to go

What's the favorite car that you own? Do you have any dodges?

I’ve got 10 close to mint condition high-performance muscle cars in my shop and I believe this one is my favorite of all of them

Did they change General Tso's Chicken on the menu, or did you misspell it with "Gao's" ? Take a good look up on the wall where they list the dish to see how it is written.

If it has changed, then I guess a the joke is over. But for at least a couple of decades, it was always General Tso.

Chop Suey is still around. Literally: "left over kitchen vegetable scraps". That was a super mild joke that lasted a century.

But the ante got upped (to my amusement). A Mandarin-speaking joke on the Big Noses. (Big Nose = da bz)

The word "tso" in Mandarin means "fuck".
Gao was Tso's cousin.

I have never had kidney stone. I hear it is one of the most painful things a man can experience. Feel for you GW.
It is certainly painful, I'll give them that! Especially the one that wouldn't pass and had to be removed.

I had my first three because I was taking Tums for reflux and I developed calcium carbonate stones. I finally caught one and switched to Malox for the reflux after having it analyzed.

I seldom get reflux since I quit drinking daily and the last stones I had analyzed were Uric acid from my urine pH being too low from a high protein diet, exacerbated by my taking HTC in one of my BP meds.

Sooo, I've adjusted my diet, meds, and drink more water in hopes of not having another one.

I’ve never participated in an auction, but I was thinking of sending this one to one of the Mecum auctions they have throughout the country… The parts for these cars, I’ve gotten so prohibitive that if you tried to Restore a nice car for a profit it would be Almost impossible nowadays… All these beautiful resto mods that people are selling cost three or $400,000 to build them and they’re lucky if they can get $150,000 when they sell it…

All my impalas are 409’s except for this one which is a 348. There’s only a few ways to tell the difference, but that car as you can tell is built for road trips and cruising. They’re all four speeds with bench seats so when I toss my boombox in the back, and put on my tunes. I’m just cruising down the highway of life.

That looks like a Yenko or something boo, pretty awesome. Beautiful cars boo 👍
The yellow one has about the same value as the Yenko…It’s a numbers matching frame off restoration L 89. There are 32 left in existence from what I understand… the factory built the minimum number required, and then they shipped them all to the dealers to make drag cars out of them…

First 12 Minutes of MTV

The launch, the legendary six words, the incomparable VKTRS. That’s all followed by the first network promo, Pat Benetar’s “You Better Run,” the debut by the original VJ’s, Superman II ad, Dolby commercial, and Mark Goodman doing the first ever intro of a video. 1 August 1981. Nothing in TV will ever again capture this kind of magic. 🥰🎶

I would be afraid to work on them. I would end up marking the spot I worked, even with fender blankets.

Nice rides...

you sir are an all star fabricator...I've seen you build stuff from next to nothing...yeah, these cars require a deft touch and must be handled with care...there's nothing you couldn't do to them but you'd never get close to them if I was around...

Evening folks! A lovely day and we got the tent up and the ficus in place. I'll get the citrous trees in this week. In case you're wondering, I got what I paid for, it's NOT 7-ft tall and the cover is about 6 inches short in all directions. K's grocery shopping and I'm taking a break. I should work on the basement, we'll see.

peace
