shes relatively quick and has a pretty knock-out high. sticks ya to the couch type high. shes a medium yielder, nothing special, but i love the high

Pic of the veg area. On the left is a group of 9 plants of different strains, in 2ga smart pots of coco and perlite. They're about a foot or so tall, and i have height to veg them out to 3 feet but ill try to put them in the flowering area when they're 2ft or so...

Pic of the re-vegging ones. Starting to get some 5 finger leaves again, might be ready to take some clones in another week or so. One of those is Blockhead, from Philcuisine, this latest harvest of her were extremely sticky and frosty indica dom buds.

Maximo, do you check trichomes under a microscope in order to determine ripeness for harvest? I'm guessing you probably harvest at 50/50 cloudy/clear if u chop at 7 weeks. That is 7 weeks from onset of 12/12, not onset of budding, right?

the phase is off in your magnetic ballast. This is why you see the lines in your photos. Might want to have that adjusted.

Huh. I googled how to adjust phase on a magnetic ballast, and what came back was stuff on e-ballasts and fluorescent ballasts.

That midnight madness came out extremely frosty, with a touch purple. Its an og kush hybrid so should be very strong, let us know how she smokes.

i am building a grow room and have a lot of questions. 1. Should i grow hydro or use a soil mix? 2. what kind and watt lights do i need? The grow room will be aprot 10x12. if igorw in soil how do you deal with the drainage water? now i think i will burn one help me if you can i have grown outdoors for many years help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me help this guy out:

1. It depends. Hydro may require more equipment and power outlets. Since you're used to growing outdoors i would suggest soil. Preferably fed with organic nutes, if you care about that stuff.
2. Four 1000w lights or four 600w lights should do good in that space, as long as you can keep temperature under 80F.
3. Growing in pots full of soil, use a saucer underneath to catch runoff.

what kind of lights? HPS for flowering I would guess and what for vegging? plent of elec. in the room and keeping it cool shouldnt be a prob. Any suggestions on what type of soil mix to use???

Typically you want HPS for flowering and MH (metal halide) for veg. If you have a digital ballast they can accept both types of bulbs. Some HPS bulbs have mixed spectrums that have more blue light in them and can be used to veg.
For soil you can go with one of the Fox Farm mixes, although only hydro shops typically carry that. Miracle Gro soil is usually not a good idea although some people have used it to good results (I've found it to contain a lot of fungus gnats). You can try a soilless mix like peat (they sell peat bales at hardware stores, etc) or coco (usually only found at hydro shops), blended with perlite for better aeration.

hey bro.. if you take the plant full term and give it a full flush. the colors will start to come out. if you want them colors to jump out, in the flush weeks drop your nite time temps to 55 to 60.
