We should call this the growing trees outdoor thread.
I'm guessing these are minimum one pound plants? Is it better to multi-harvest plants this size? Buds on top and outside are fuller, buds on the inside tend to be more wispy? Although I guess a lot of popcorn could be used in hash-making... :)

i will be chopping tops first, then coming back for the rest...

its gonna be a real challenge tho, hehe, as the plot is outperforming expectations...

at this point, it's more than i can haul off-site wet. so i will be processing in the bush and then hauling off dried and destemmed buds in large duffel bags.

and yea baba, trees indeed... the stems are larger around than size D batteries and plants are between 8-9' tall

peas

Do you think all that rain we got this summer really led to outperforming expectations? Your spot must have been well-drained.
Sounds like youre going to need a machete to chop down those plants.:yoinks:
Harvesting in the bush, u dont get a bunch of bugs and debris on the buds as they dry, do you?

"Where you going with the saw-zall, MDK?"
"I'm going to harvest."
"Weed or a tree?!?"
"Yes."

Im thinking drying in the bush should be fine, its not like a bunch of gunk gets stuck to them while theyre alive and theyre sticky and resinous as well while theyre alive. Never heard of anyone drying on site like that so you may be onto something...

Shamrock, PC has made a bunch of his own crosses, the 13 is probably from G13, but the WD part, no idea. I dont think youll be disappointed though, he's got access to a lot of elite genetics, and ive grown his stuff and its always been top notch.

I see those colas are filling in nicely, Respect. What do you think, another month on those babies till theyre as thick as soda bottles? Nice work in getting them staked up before they start bending over...

Bit of a cold stretch here for sure but should warm back up to the 70's in the week ahead. Doesnt the cold bring out some lovely purple colors? Course, the cold and the rain probably dont mix too well...
