Strawberry Cough, Sour Grapefruit, Bogglegum, and phriends

This was the last photo I snapped, from about day 14, Everybody is starting to bud up, the SC's nearly tripled in sized, and me thinks me found the Bogglegum pheno I am looking for...at day 21 she already has a super bublegummy smell to her..but as I have read, I don't think there is a bad pheno in the mix. Can hardly wait midwest, this is gonna be my dankest grow ta date...just gotta make it a few more weeks!

hey phil, nice bromeliad. the tasty kind... also, nice phal. when a hybrid or species is mislabeled like at the home depots, they are called NOIDs. the flecks and veins are nice on that light petal background. the throat is also colorful. i've got close to 30 orchids now.

Well been a long time since i've stopped by ICMAG. I see some names i used to talk to all the time here Baba,Lcoop4,retardo(you guys remember me?) I see things are still going well for you guys, thats awsome. As for me A thief and a snitch ruined my grow for the past cpl yrs. But im back and in a legal state now so im gonna go bigger than ever but keep my roots right here in the midwest group where it all started. Ok so as you guys that i used to talk to know i had a nice green thumb, those of you i didn't know, check out my old posts and you'll get a feeling. I do have some questions for you guys if you don't mind helping a brotha get going again, all my past grows were fairly small flood and drain type systems. Can any of you guys give me some advice on what kinda system to go with this time for running 20-30 plants in flower at a time, flood and drain would be to cumbersome for that many plants i think. Maybe point me to a link with a good read on growin that many at a time in flower. Any and all suggestions are welcomed, and thx ahead of time, great to be back in the midwest club

Hey Orion, sorry to hear about your troubles. Hope you got out of it without legal complications.
I would think with 20-30 plants ebb and flow would be best, but if you're doing bigger plants maybe some type of recirculating dwc? Check out the hydro subforum stickies, they have a couple tutorials on RDWC. Ive done DWC (bubble buckets) in the past and when its good its GREAT. But if youre running 20-30 DWC buckets you'd probably need at least 4-8k of wattage, maybe on light movers too, to maximize your potential. But if youre doing a sog style 20-30 plants then i would think e+f would be best but u did say its a pain for some reason... care to elaborate on that?
Also, what im doing right now, and some others are having good success with, is smart pots with coco/perlite, and tropf-blumat drip irrigation systems. As good as DWC if dialed in right.
What size space are we talking about?

Thx baba, ya i got out without any legal troubles luckily. As for E&F im thinkin about 20-30- trees this time instead of my old sog or scrog method(lookin for big harvests this time).Really looking seriously at BIGTOKES biobucket thread on here and thinkin about goin that route. I say it would be a pain cause big plants like that need room to grow and would need a big res which would have to be below my table to drain it back in. thats just my thinkin anyway, if you have a better idea pls do tell. What you guys think about BIGTOKES biobuckets? that a recirc DWC correct?

That's nice and frosty, csedge. What is it, bogglegum?

With the RDWC setups, the res is usually a 55 gallon drum or some huge rubbermaid tub. The buckets sit on the floor, and the tub/drum sits on the floor, sometimes in a different room than the buckets (plumbing lines go through the wall). I dont know that a whole lot of people but the buckets on a table, with the res underneath.
With 24 buckets, i think you should do 2, 12 bucket setups, each 12 buckets having its own res. Have 2 rows of 6 buckets, with 1k HPS lights hung vertically in between the rows, with 3 1k lights or 2 1k lights on movers. With 12 trees, lets say 3 month veg+flower cycle, you could get 6 pounds dry per 12 trees, or 8 oz per plant. This is assuming a good yielding strain, a pretty much dialed in system (vigorous growth, no major problems), maybe some training (at least have to tie your huge colas up).
Realistically, i would say yield would be at least 3lbs dry per 12 buckets, even accounting for average yielding strains and maybe some stress problems during the grow. That's the power of DWC and vertical lighting.
You would need a good bit of room for a setup like this, more so when having two such 12 bucket systems. Perhaps ideally you only want 2 1k ballasts on a flipflop switch between two different flower rooms, that way you only need half the ballasts. Also you would need pretty good ventilation for such a space, with odor control, etc. Quite a bit of work you're looking at, a good month or so i would think. Good luck with whatever you choose.

farmers are harvesting the corn already?

i was driving past some corn fields the other day and noticed that they were turning that golden color instead of the greenish color and was thinking to myself "soon, possibly"

i do treelines by farm fields, but never actually IN the corn lol
