Michigan Medical Outdoor 2015

Hey guys just thought id drop in and document our 10 plant Michigan medical marijuana garden this year. As Michigan law states we must have an enclosed (including top) anchored cage that can not be visible to neighbors by the unaided eye. (whatever unaided eye is lol). All I know is nobody but us can see it. Lol anyways its a 20' x 30' cage and we run 10 plants in 65 gallon smart pots this is are 2ND year in this cage and we are extremely exited to Get our starts in there final homes!! Will be uploading some pictures tonight!!

Good luck with the vagaries of our weather. How'd it go last summer..? Cheers...!

Dang I can't believe I started this thread on website support!!! Lol!!! I'm a fool!! I thought forsure I started it in the outdoor section I'm going crazy I guess lol, I am going to restart this in the outdoor forum, but to answer your question stasis we ended up doing fairly well just shy of 9 elbows for us and the patients not including smalls. Not to much loss from rot and pm so overall pretty well we got a late start tho not like this year we have a good headstart, anyways I'll try and digg up some pictures of last years garden and I'll post t them on the new thread I make

Thanks jointed!! Thanks 45th I'm more than ready to get the clones in there final homes, I'm chomping at the bit. Gonna prolly get it done this weekend but I'll get sum pics of them in the 7 gal pots tomorrow when I head out to the property. I started putting them out around may 10th but was bringing them back in at sundown to give them a couple extra hours of light to keep from flowering on me plus keeping them warm, we were having sum cold nights up until a week ago, then i would move them out before work at sunrise. I stopped that around 7 days ago and haven't had any signs of flowering yet so I doubt they will at this point I've always had good luck putting clones out may 21st (depending on the weather of course lol) where I'm at without issues...knock on wood.

Oh by the way the cuts we are running blazing blue which is a UK livers cut crossed with Casey Jones finishes late September. LA Confidential from DNA late September finisher. A Cheese cut that finishes 1st week October. Gorilla Glue #4 which I've never run outside but I've seen a few guys here on Icmag run it outside so I do know she prolly will go till late October so I'll just let her go as long as I can by covering her. Also I have 1 nightfire og from sin city seeds that I'm not sure when will finish but will accommodate. One more thing I forgot too add our south facing cage gets roughly 11 hours of direct sun.

In the future we will just fill up the damn near 150 gal holes I have dug out there and pop the plant in but there is alot of clay there so I would be worried about drainage issues more so than just having the smart pots sitting on top of the clay, we had no issues with drainage last year but id like to make sure one more year before I decide to put them in a permanent spot, at least a smart put can be moved for the first 2 months if any issues occur yeah moving 65 gal pots would be a pain but it could be done if necessary.

Anyways I dug the Holes initially for more head room in the cage. Recessing the pots gave me at least a foot of extra head room, also we are using fox farm ocean forest for or soil we have had great luck with it in the past top dressing with ewc and rainbow mix veg until 2.5 weeks into flower then switch to rainbow Mix bloom.

Hey guys I dident wanna wait for the moderator to relocate this so I just restarted it in the outdoor thread its named the same thing Michigan Medical Outdoor 2015 check it out guys!!

I have never grown outside but I would think your cage is way to short. They look like they will get way taller then the cage?

Slender, I am hoping they will be lol that's the goal anyways.

MImedhead, what's up man?? Yeah there is sum concern with them getting too tall since we got a good start on most of the girls, but I do have 8 ft of pure head room until they could grow thru the top of the cage since the smart pots are recessed in the ground 16 inches which is the height of my pots roughly, there 18in I think.

And as you can see they all were topped early on to keep a wide round shape with lots of tops, and now i will be training thru the support cages I have wrapped around them to continue training for the wide shape. They are in 65's which is pretty dang small compared to some of the other medical outdoor guys here so they don't grow super tall in my spot depending on the strain and how there trained they pretty much max out at 7 ft not counting the height of the smart pot. I would be happy to get a 2lb average.

My biggest concern is the room between them. I'll keep the updates coming.

I'll take a picture of the whole cage tomorrow when I get out to the property so U can get an idea of how big our cage is it's 20'x 30'x 8' with a top on it.
