Happy New Year! Michigan is gonna have another year OD, I'll get those bud shots up ASAP! Cracked a tube of Blue Dream sure am blown away by the late BD. Working on genetics selection, adding 60-70 feet to both of my buildings with metal end walls instead of wood and new bigger roll-up doors. Umm... Moving into 200 or 300 gallon pots with 12' plant spacing, 66-72 plants, my own soil mix again, shooting for a 5 per average. Only proven winners this year. Gonna try some bodhi gear from screws success, more blue strains and way bigger plants. Just don't know if the extra 100 gallons is going be worth the extra $5-7k in dirt costs when turbo claims 7 outta his 200s!

Chime in, this year warrants a new thread... Oh, gonna retire ole Yeller for some new Orange too!

7 out of 200s would be nice!

Well I just took a kick to the dick -- Realtor send me some restrictions on the deed and one of them is no commercialisation.

Waiting for lawyer to call me back -- if I'm a Michigan Med grower (patient & caregiver, running my full 72) am I a "commercial" entity or am I just a guy with a garden?

What this most likely means is that you can't put up a retail front on the property and you can't even use any of the property as a retail sales location. If it's zoned agricultural, it's pretty common, TBH.

Officially kicking off 2016, part of new genetics on the way, looking for more!

Mods, please close this thread if anyone's watching and I'll edit this post with a link to the new one when I get around to it. Thanks!

Sho,

You have a great thread here, very inspirational. I am in the early stages of planning my own farmtek setup in lower Michigan. How big of a package was your green house when picking it up? I'm trying to figure out if my truck and trailer is big enough. I am getting a 24'x72' series 500 with the roll up sides.

Keep up the great work

What size trailer? I made due with a 2004 Yukon and an 18' car hauler. If it's a round pipe kit I think you'll be ok. Shipping is so cheap right now I wouldn't waste the time driving! $1200 for me to get 16,000lbs across 10 irregular sized pallets nearly half a flat deck trailer or half of a dry van. Trailer was overloaded by 600lbs and I had a lotta tounge weight!
