Indeed but I wouldn't call em a clone...same vein of the genre but Decap brings their own shit. Also wouldn't say they own Nile without the 15-20 beers in me haha. Nile brings it, Vader brings it, Decap was baptized in the shit cuz they released their first full-length when they were all 16-17... Decapitated - Winds of Creation check that one out first specifically #6 - Human's Dust if that doesn't get added to your all time fave hit-list, I dunno. It'll just get added to the hit-list I know that much.

Winds of Creation is now on the must buy list!

Decap deffo bring their own shit!

Influenced by Vader, of course, but solid in their own sound!

This was the begining of the pit fire. An hour or so later the flames were 15'-20' tall. Good times....

Haha yeah, I didn't think it would go down too well with the purists judging from some of the comments on that second video. Who decides what qualifies as 'metal' anyway? There are tonnes of non-traditional metal sub-genres these days

I still listen to the old stuff, I think I've just got a bit bored with it since I've heard it all before and it's all a bit similar. These days I gravitate towards songs that have something unusual that catches my attention or a unique twist to it

If you like the first 3 albums from Metallica, (after that, they sold out hard), check out what I've been posting. Laaz Rockit and Paradox in particular.

No you've never heard of them, I'm guessing, but their work is just as impressive as anything Metallica have released, including KEA.

Check it out.

Bands like Kreator, Sodom, Destruction, Testament, early Onslaught, early Sepultura, I could go on and on.

As far as thrash is concerned there is a lot more than the 'Big 4' that need to be heard.
