So is anybody getting real road kill skunk smells. (after dry/cure)
Or just more of the sweet sweet?
Roadkill was roadkill dry. Nothing sweet about it.
From what I'm reading this sounds like something similar to the chem family.
Except the pine. I like that. Damn I wish Pine Tar Kush was about.
nice show keep up the work

I haven't found any true roadkill skunk yet.
The 4 I had went like this
Garlicky - keeper
Sweet/Dead - not a keeper
Pine - actually has the weirdest odor of them all, it dried up into a cucumber melon lotion/pine smell. Very unique, I bet women would love it. Im not sure if I will keep it much longer.
And this last pheno up above, too early to say for sure because it needs to dry, but at this moment Im not getting any RKS odor. A full dried report will be posted in about 2 weeks.
The thing with testing for roadkill skunk is you kind of have to have the test done by someone from North America that has actually smelled a skunk. If you've never smelled a skunk you wouldn't know what to look for.
The skunk bud I used to get when I was younger was loud skunk, not kind of like skunk it smelled just like a skunk. The whole car would stink.
Im a little disappointed to not have found true skunk, I had really high hopes. Atleast I got some nice buds to smoke and a few keeper plants to run a few times.
The garlic pheno albeit not skunk is still some killer herb. I liked it so much I am on my 3rd run with it.
I myself will continue to look for RKS. I found a Med Man RKS male that has skunk like odor, I might fuck around with some F2's for a bit. Im going to use the garlic pheno and the purple pheno's as these were the best and had the most branching.
P.S
I was looking at the old SSSC catalog the other day, and even when those catalogs were made the Skunk #1 was listed as a sweet strain. So I kind of have my doubts that roadkill skunk was skunk at all.
