You have a sick setup man. Looks like alot of hard work you've put in. Those 100gl smart pots are monstrous.

I hope your getting better weather than we are in Ireland.

Peace

thanks Brother Ganja! I can't wait to see an update from your garden in the future :tiphat:

temps tonight are supposed to drop into the mid 40's and we've had gust of winds up to 55 mph. I sure am glad I invested in hoops this season :dance013:

Man my Blue Dream looks exactly like yours! came from bag seed of really dense seeded FROSTY fruity/kushy weed. Was told it was a blue dream cross but thought nothing of it as names cane be deceiving here....but it looks just like yours. Its about 10 days into flower...hope the buds are purplish like yours! the stems show nice coloring!

been a shitty week, got literally jack and shit done. I've been extremely allergic to poison oak since I was a kid and got a bad case about a week back, basically all over my body, my hands were hit hard and go figure this is the 2 week period I would need to be transplanting the most. Hoping to get back to it by the 1st!

Here's an update on the PBD, she grew about 6 inches in every direction since transplant. been having gusts of wind over 65 mph the past few days and its been a job in itself keeping the hoops down!

that's all for now

I finally got some big seedlings transplanted into some 65 gal smarties.

Blue Rhino x Citrus Skunk up close and Afgoo x PBD

phase 1 of the support cage for the BR x CS

gave the Afgoo x PBD a tomato cage because last season this strain had some of the heaviest colas and her branches could not handle it! She will need trellis work done as she grows.

ive posted more than 60% of the posts in here, thats sad

6/3/11 plugged in

Couldn't have asked for a more perfect transplanting day; poison oak free, low 70's and a slight ocean breeze made its way from the coast up the canyon. Got just about everything 45 gallon and up transplanted into. Have a few 45's, 30's and 20's left empty for some late clones at the end of the month.

some healthy roots

here is a bamboo frame with hortinova trellis wrapped around for support. This NYCD in a 65 gallon geo pot will have that cage to grow into and support against all the way till harvest. Most plants won't get the hortinova till late june and july when the real growth starts coming in.

here's a Blue Dream with the bamboo frame up

Sour Diesel in a 65 gallon geopot

Two Purple Berry Diesel clones; Same strain, same mother, same soil, same transplant date, and same amount of sun. The one on the right is a 65 gallon smartpot and on the left we have a 65 gallon geo pot, this will be the ultimate comparison to see which 'air pruning pot' is the best, smartpot vs geopot.

NYCD lady one the spot for the last 100 gallon. I love this strain. Heavy/dense sugar coated buds with an amazing bud/leaf ratio. So fruity smelling/tasting, pleasant sativa high! great for maintenance work around the garden.

the two 100 gallons plugged in, it's go time! Purple Berry Diesel & New York City Diesel

so far I'm blown away by the growth on this PBD, exploding and it's not even mid june yet!

put some hortinova at the top of the texas tomato cage

the garden from another perspective

Blue Rhino x Citrus Skunk, wish I got a better picture of her today I think I was trying to get some of the garden in the background too. 14 week sativa

Bird's eye view right quick

Till next time people, have a safe weekend

got a "Stinger Insect Killer" that attracts anything flying with 1/2 acre into it's electric grill, zap and lights out on those moths, mosquito, flies, the list goes on.... just in case any insects wander I set up sticky traps throughout the garden. I try to spray with organocide, neem oil, and BT as little as possible but this is the California Coast, bugs thrive here and I admit to spraying once a week if not every other.

lots more trellising to do tomarrow

where you at critter?

here we are 8 days later, expect friday's to be update days, as always though I'll throw up pics of some chores I do here and there when I do them.

Got all trellises up for plants that are in their final pots, got a few more ladies transplanted; 707 Headband, Triple Kush, Blueberry x Afghani and GreenCrack.
Still have about 10 ladies waiting to be transplanted and 10 more pots to fill up!

This morning I used over 50 lbs of worm castings to top dress all the ladies. I then slowly hand watered the castings into the soil with a fresh tea (brewed for exactly 24 hrs).

As you can see these first photos were taken when it was foggy, it's June and here in Cali that means the June Gloom, dense cloud cover that doesn't burn till mid-late afternoon.

Sour Diesel

Jakenbake's Green Crack, bent under the trellis to get her nice and bushy

these next ones were taken when the clouds finally burned off

707 Headband into a 45 gal

Triple Kush into a 45, the buds in the foreground are that of the Triple Kush she was cloned from.

Valley Girl (SFV OG)

Purple Berry Diesel clone about ready to take off

Blue Dream

NYC Diesel starting to stretch her roots out into that 100 gallon

Afgoo x PBD taking off

Blue Rhino x Citrus Skunk

garden shot 1

shot 2, right now that open space is bugging me, I'm hoping they'll bush out to fill it up, it's a bitch to try and move those pots!

Purple Berry Diesel
on May 22 (transplant day)

Today June 11

Explosive growth for 3 weeks especially considering 15 out of the past 21 days have been foggy or stormy.

The ball is rollin'
