We are on a mazari f4s hunt too, seedling stage already, easy 14-15 out of 19 sprouted two days in water, hope to make some stock seeds for sharing with next generations and make some combinations with the Holy Kalamata red Venus "sage" mom f4 blessed this year by Delico, will update here when the show starts !!!
Cool bro good luck with them and for their expansion, it makes me happy again man you second @DragonflyCoyote who also did another F5 line last year. And great combo with @delicorganic's good vibes, big up Greece! I look forward in outdoor, the only drawback remains the capacity to limit the mold fragility but for Greece it sounds good, also curious to know how male Maz heritage will perform with this Kalamata cut!!
Here's 72 out of 78 in the dirt since few days with 13 out of 14 Black Maz.
Nice synchronicity between us, that's karma and looking forward to exchanging future seeds from our strawberry moms, the line is definately saved bravo!
Interesting genetics, I'm trying to understand. Mazar-e Sharif is located at 368m, and the current weather conditions are temps around 30C for the next week, . It doesn't get really cold until end of November https://weatherspark.com/y/148945/A...ort-Uzbekistan-Year-Round#Figures-Temperature
Air humidity is also very low, today around 7-8% during the day, 15-20% during the night. Precipitation is statistically very low during the next months. So I think I understand the somewhat low mold tolerance.
Some music I enjoy in the growroom, dadawah, peace & love .
Your efforts and enthusiasm is inspiring, @Roms. I have a strain like this, given by someone without any info. Growing indoors has worked ok, but now I'm in a semi-outdoor setting, all air is from outside. So my air humidity is higher, which I think has been an issue - I've had bud rot in several plants. Also, I think I overwatered in the last stage of flowering, I suspect that could contribute? Buds have been very "juicy" on examination of problem plants...
Anyway, good vibes to your grow, next year I'll do some side-by-side strains from Vibes times . Can't wait.
Thanks PolarLynx, i guess your mystery indica strain is maybe 12/14 weeker like my selection of Mazari? Your "juicy" description of buds is also similar like a fog of resin, density of trichomes result. Size and width of tritri are also bigger but it's really the density that causes mold fragility i think, same problem with my Swazi but with different very small tritri. It needs 24/24 dry aeration/extraction in last weeks for sure!
I look forward your next grows from the Vibes man, happy come back!
Did you receive some Nepalese at the time?
Thanks Roms . I'm thinking South Indian, three African and two South American/Caribbean side by side, maybe... . Should be interesting .
Yeah, it's above 10 weeks flowering, a broad leave lavender smelling, that grows tall if you let it. I had a problem making it worse, decay of small fanleaves in the cola. Combined with the complexities of day for night, with air humidity skyrocketing outside during the day (when it's night and colder in my room), warmer humid air makes it just too humid . Like you say, I need a dehumidyfying machine or change the season for when to flower... and watch those other things, like improving longevity of my soil, not overheating by lamps... It's a challenge...
I grew the Pahari from panta/RSC(?), but I never got a male and lost it in pure form . Other than that, no Nepalese. I was in Nepal in 1984, and saw a lot of diversity. In Kathmandu, it was groing in huge fields just outside town, and visiting Dhunche in the mountains I remember a 4-meter giant next to the water pump in the village. Today things are different, the field I once saw now has houses built on them, and from Dhunche, then end of the road, there now is a road into China!
So, few days after posting I had a beginning boytritis, and cut them both. Very high humidity and dead leaves in the bud was starting point. My fault for not maintaining health...
