Hmm G, we tear out a couple plants right in the row. Then plant in row, this way one can tie plants over and to corn to break up out line. Put the ferts to them, heavy N now and P and K later. Ive planted in late July and still got decent yields.

Most of all its good to see your a go getter. Some talk it, but when the risk and work come into play...get cold feet. To each thier own.

Hey Gunnar,

Carefull that you not plant the delightments in a field of GMO-corn, since several varieties of Monsanto are allowed to grow in the EU.Genes from this corn can also fly over to other plant varieties since a lot of weed seems to be resistant to Roundup in other countries like Canada, USA, Argentina.

this night i started on the Danish passion field
2 houses nearby and one had all lights inside and the other was watching tv and shut if off shortly after i arrived so would be risky to take pix and have flash at that point
nice field apart from that and ill snap pix from it later

today im brewing up some voodoo juice to fight the Powdery Mildew in the greenhouse
baking water, baking soda, soap, vegetative, tea tree, eucalyptus oil and a little honey
ill also ad some alcohol and some nicotine to fight remaining spider mites while im at it

going out again to night to plant more DP

Yeah if the roundup-ready genes transfer to your cannabis then Monsanto will sue you for using their patented genes :)

Take care of your back man with all of that work - how many males are you already able to remove before planting out?

i removed 3 males from the royal dane x erocket/dp as they where very early and definably worth to save pollen from for future breeding
many of the strain are now showing males
for primary strain i watch them as it would be nice to have the earliest males out in the corn but if they start to open before putting out ill have to removed them as i dont want pollen flying around in the GH
from the secondary strains apart from the 3 rdxer/dp males i kill them immediately as i dont need males from them and if they show sex now they save me the hassle of moving them out in corn
ive removed quite a lot males by now and im watching even more
most early males are from rd x er/dp but most others are also starting to show their males
havent seen any sex on the Freja's yet which surprises me a little but im sure they will start soon as they have grown a lot lately

i was just out in the GH to spray the witch brew on every plant
i need to rest my back now as the GH is bad for it as i cant stay upright
but after rest ill go prepare the DP for tonights mission and put them in crates ready for transport later
ill also inspect and kill more males then
ill make notes here that i can use later regarding % of males at this stage and date
some PM had spread the the RD x ER/DP as they where neighbors to the infected mm x n3b7... so they had some extra witch brew added
ill see how and if the PM is contained and ill make yet another spray in about a weeks time
ive opened the ends in the GH for more air circulation and ill probably add a floor based 40 cm oscillating fan to get more air movement

once i get more time, which is in short supply atm, ill start making the dark chamber for the greenhouse and start flowering some of the clones and other indoor strains for a nice early skunk harvest and some badly needed cash
also that will tell me some of the clones if they are worth as keepers and which has to go etc

also i really cant wait to try some of my clone only out as to how they smoke
cant wait till winter to taste Cheese, happy brother, SSSDH, sweet skunk, double dutch, endless sky, bifrost, skunk#1 and the others
also i need to test my 2 current c99 moms from farmerjohn while i wait to the 2 c99 from mosca has shown sex and are ready to clone
i hope theres a good 7 week clone among some of them
i should be getting the SPG and some more c99 soon but they will have to root first and probably wont be included in the first flowering batch

I'm actually glad to hear that your Freja hasn't started showing yet. This must mean that I can expect a good vegging when I put mine out soon - meant to put them out last weekend but didn't get it done (doh - no other excuses than being too lazy and tired to stay up until 3 am to go out and dig holes).
I wonder if it's still possible to reach 100 grams or so per plant for stuff going out now in a full sun spot...

last year i was out in the corn at end july with mostly 20-35 cm plants and i still pulled a decent harvest that taken into account, so i guess anything is possible
this year i started the transplanting a month earlier and now my problems is that before im done transplanting the plants might have over grown the space i have in my car for them
but

all i can say is:
Just do it!

Hmm end of July you said? Perhaps I should start more seeds... I might have time for putting more out by then...

hehehe.... I told ya you better get started early... :)

If you need to keep them short, pinch the tops slow them down or just prune to your desired height and plant... No worries... :)

might have to start topping yes
we have a full moon coming and the nights are brighter and brighter
ive been working 2 nights outside town planting Danish passion into some really hard stoney soil
2 houses actually have a view down where im working and since the full moon starts to have influence i can only work from midnight to 2 am
i have yet one night remaining there, then its off to some better soil and a new strain
for the danish passion field i had planned a secondary strain also for a cross but since the soil is so hard to work in i just want to get that field over with as soon as possible

apart from the mm x b3n7... that had PM, im going to do primary strains first and not just doing a field at a time with both the primary and the secondary

this way i can get as many primary out as soon as possible without having to kill too many valuable early males from the primary strains back in the GH

killing males from secondary strains in the GH is good though
they shall be killed anyway and removing males there saves me the trouble of transporting and transplanting

last night due to the shitty soil i had to leave 1/2 crate out there and i have 2 more DP crates at home
but after this night im starting to do the Royal Danes
also about time as males are starting to pop

then after that i think it will be Freja going out

then im still left with 2 primary strains
Auto Lotse and carpation, but they are in small numbers and they got planted a little later so they wont mind waiting a little and getting some more size in the GH before going out

well i almost forgot Leb27 but they are in smaller numbers as the seeds arent fully matured when i harvest so i have to transport them back with roots and let them mature for 2 weeks at home in buckets with water
much work and if the seeds from leb27 hadent been so much in demand i wouldnt have gone trough all that work for that strain, but i want to see happy growers growing leb27 next season so ill do that extra work for that strain
sensimilla Leb27 will finish before the corn though but seeded ones needs a little extra

i havent been able to shot any pix at the Danish Passion field due to security but ill make up for that with some greenhouse shots soon instead and some shots at next field which is planned to be a royal dane field

Keep on rockin' it, Gunnar! Sounds like you're going to be in some pretty dang good shape if you're not already, and what better way to stay in shape by doing something you love. I'm looking forward to the Danish Passion field pics as well as the new GH shots. Continued best luck to you!

maturing seeds

maturing seeds

if you need to continue the maturation of your seed mothers they can be placed without roots in a bubble cloner and will continue to finish the seeds.

Nice going i planted 12 plants in 2 different fields 4 in each patch, and i go to check on it this week w/o checking on it for 6 days and they are all gone, dug up. I didnt make it obviouse, and have no idea wtf happened.

Well 1 plant is still there and thats it, you think farmers in indiana fertilize or something that late in June?

the danish passion field is done with its rock hard shitty soil

i just completed the last crate in the Royal Dane field this night ( although i might add a secondary strain to it later for some cross pollinated seeds)

shitty soil also but i little betetr than the DP field although its hard and much work

on my way home i planted out my 9 Auto Lotze from Darwin seeds

this is from the Royal dane field

notice some broken stems
hard to avoid that now they have gained height and when transported in and out of my car
those where done yesterday
the pellet fertilizer is there but needs some rain to get into the soil and start working

these are from tonight
the last crate in and its complete at least regarding the RD's and for now
4 crates in that field
did keep like 6 males and killed the rest and also kept some smaller ladies at home as i didnt wanna breed with them in the seed stock

on my way home i stopped and made a little 9 plant field with Auto Lotze from Darwin seeds
much betetr soil there
nice airy and fluffy and not with too many stones
i found a clearing in there so no need to plant between rows or dig up plants to make space for the small AL's
they are told to be auto flowering but containing no ruderalis genetics
they havent flowered yet but bear in mind that i sprouted them later than the others due to being busy

notice that little fellow
he or she is a true survivor
it was decapitated by some bug in the greenhouse and since the starting leaves where cut off it should have died by now but im keeping him it to see if it still has a change to start forming leafs

well thats it for now
i need some sleep
expect an update from the greenhouse soon and im also starting a new field soon and ill snap some pix from it if its possible due to security

stay tuned, green and safe
