Had a scare yesterday. I was at the beach all day thought it had rained enough between the storms the night before and a shower in the morning. Got home about 8 at night checked the girls and Damn they were drooping to the ground. Needless to say I was shitting myself. Gave them a quick watering last night and they have come back full force. Gonna really soak the garden today. Good luck out there.

Yep. We've seem very little rain here in the last couple weeks . Ive been having to give the plants I have in 20 gallon containers about 3 gallons of water a day. One plant was yellowing and I couldn't figure it out until I pulled the root ball out of the pot and found it to be dry in the center. I'm thinking pH was off because I wasn't watering it enough.

You guys ain't been getting rain and I been getting too much rain. It rained like 3 days back to back last week and had showers on and off the days previous and after. smh I want to see the sun out in full force not cloudy skies and too much rain for my seedlings. Hope the sun stays out this week, my babies need it. Especially since I just transplanted them in the ground and in pots, ready for the takeoff.. lol

So I think the drooping leaves at night gave me a false flag. I thought the plants were dry and that's why they were drooping. Watered the entire garden yesterday with a heavy soaking and the girls look great. Checked them last night and had drooping leaves again, look out this morning and they couldn't be happier. So in conclusion I think the plants go to sleep after sundown and droop a bit till morning when they wake up and pray again. Sometimes it sucks being a Newb but I guess that's just the learning process. Will get some pics up later :)

Ive found certain strains do droop at night and stand at attn when the sun hits them.
Overwatering is newbs biggest mistake.
Going today to transplant a bunch of plants into big pots and growbags today. Gotta go to both spots and t/p a bunch of plants.

Only 5 or 6 more weeks of veg and then they start flowering. What a quick season this has been. Loosing an entire month and a half to cold rain really sucked this season!
I guess its better to have smaller plants this "first legal season", and have a nice harvest, then to loose everything cuz the plants were to big and drew the wrong attn.

Both the Sandstorm and the BubbaKush /Sour Bubble plants I have outside have started to flower.
The Sandstorm was a clone from a very mature plant and the BBK/SB plant was a mother I took cuttings off of all winter. They must be raring to go.
The PCK plants, from a younger, less mature mother have not even shown preflowers yet.

You live and learn alot growing this here cannabis, just stick with it and you'll do fine. You might not get top shelf right out the gate but it'll be way better than any dealers off the street 9 outta 10 times, if you follow the methods of fellow growers on here. Peace & blessings..

Overwatering is newbs biggest mistake.

When I went to t/p these youngsters today, that were still in 1gln and 2gln pots, the new grower Im teaching had these fkn pots swamped!!!!! I mean so wet, the 1gln pot weighed fkn 20 lbs. LOL!
I scolded her bad. I mean Jesus H!
Good thing I t/p'ed them into bigger pots. They would've drowned.

So, other than that, Im still beating a dead horse trying to get her to empty her pool water and grow in there. Its set down 8' feet and we can cover it if we wanted to flower them out earlier. We could grow 16 footers no problem if we wanted. Why wouldnt you use the ginormous hole in your backyard in a seriously tight residential neighborhood?!?!? Problem with newbs, is they micro manage you or atleast try to do things their way, and theres nothing I can say or do cause its thier place. If it was mine.....the pool would be emptied and converted into a greenhouse type lightdep. FUK!

Outdoor plants lovin' life today.
The seeds for these plants in the two photos came from Jamaica last month. I have no idea what they are but they don't appear very Sativa-ish to me and smell skunky.

I think this one is a male. Very vigorous, hollow stemmed, it grew to this 4 foot height in about 3 weeks. I topped it a couple times but it grew so fast it got away from me.
