Hey otto I actually did notice some nanners on the bottoms of mine. Nothing out of control or out of the ordinary for someone used to running diesels and what not, but they were there. Haven't found any seeds. I will agree though, after sampling and seeing some legit cookies I can say that cut is not girl scout cookies, no way no how imho. Who knows what it is, could be cherry pie, could be some sort of s1, odds are we'll never know. For what it's worth if I was forced to put money on it I'd say it's some sort of cherry pie. It tastes and smells great though. You killed it growing her.

Coastal, thats weird I have yet to see one even on the lower buds, I guess I'll get a better view once harvest comes but I trimmed those bottoms pretty good so their top heavy....Also I'd hate to just assume and slap a name on it like cookies or cherry pie to avoid confusion down the line on top of that I'd hate to swap it for something; I get what I asked for and the other person gets something they weren't expecting. 99% of the time its unintentional but it still sucks for that other person. I'm obviously not experienced in the cookies or pie so I guess it's a bag seed from some of that bud or just another labeled GSC cut in some dispensary in cali that wasn't GSC, but we'll both agree on we'll never know.

I thought the problem with PVC is that if it explodes, you get plastic shrapnel, which is also why I think any open end non reclaiming method is pure insanity, especially if you are anywhere near your grow.. YMMV

I won't even smoke solvent extracts. It has nothing to do with solvents being left behind in the finished product either... All of the fat soluble waxes, tars, lipids, fatty esters, and other secondary metabolites are condensed in the finished product which causes a harsh "wretching" type coughing reaction. With bubble and dry sift you are only collecting the resin heads, which contain all the essential oils wrapped in cellulose.

Honestly my only gripe with bubble is it makes me too sleepy, no matter how good it is. I've gotten sick of the stuff over time tbh. It's nice every once in a while. Dry sift is rarely FMCD. I smoke/dab to get high, and oil gets me just right, not to mention it's flavor is vastly superior if its well made.

In the end everyone has their preference...

Bubble is a vague term... Most people over mix it... Or they don't store the trim properly and the cannabinoids degrade... Hash making is a lot like poker, takes a day to learn how to play, a lifetime to master.

You are right though, different strokes, I like hash for the exotic flavors and such, but to get my mind right, a big tube rip of dank nug works every time, even after all these years...

Definitely, same reason why we don't all enjoy the same strains! If you haven't already try making it with powdery snow (and letting the buckets sit outside in a couple feet of snow for a couple hours beforehand), it's a trick otto showed me a while back. It's even more of a bitch to mix but so worth it. While living up in maine I did it like that and have had a hard time going back, you get that top notch quality while still getting a very respectable yield.

You are so right about hash making taking time to learn. Anybody with good starting material and a set of instructions can make some top notch oil, making some killer bubble is a bit more of an art form. When it completely disappears off of the screen/nail you know you did it right

Coastal I feel the same way brother. I love bubble, but there's no question it personally makes me sleepy.. It's RARE I find bubble that don't make me sleepy. I rip bubble at night before bed, right when I wanna get super foggy in the head lol. I feel like erl is much more of a cerebral thing than a whole body bubble thing.. Erl just makes me straight up stupid lol.


Otto - that tent looks bomb brother, those buds seriously look tasty. U think the foxtails are a summer heat thing or those girls just push them out like that? The pure Kush looks super dank too, that's some OG's crossed together? Buds almost look like the #9

TB, I believe the girls are just pushing them out like that, I have a thermostat hooked up to my portable AC, so my temps stayed 74-80 during lights on and 68-74 lights off, also have a dehumidifier pumping in there at a consistent 50%, needs to get dumped every other day or so....Also not positive on the background of the pure kush but yes I have to say your #9 nug pics look very og'ish to me as does the pure kush....i'm looking forward to puffin a bunch of that PK...

Same here, was just talking about this the other day. I love bubble, it has its place in my stash, but oil gets me dumb high but still awake. Bubble is a guaranteed nap time.

What do you mean by storing cuttings properly? I don't know what that process is but I saved mine in a plastic bag from the grocery store. I knotted it closed and put the bag inside an air tight container.

I did think about what would be the best way to store cuttings but didn't know if that was an important part of the process. What I thought about was that if curing bud is so important. Then the cuttings would be best if the went through a curing process also. I dunno if I over thought the situation? Just an idea
