Playtowin,

Sometimes less is more- all depends on the environment.

Just out of curiosity, what is your relative humidity? You definitely want to keep it around 60% and if you have plants with bigger nugs - you may want to go between 50-55%.

Getting a dehumidifier, that keeps it at a set Relative Humidity would be all you would need, and a Humidity (RM) monitor - which are like $10-$15 for the cheaper ones.

It's a key thing to be tracking. Also during drying & curing =]

Vado,

Thanks for the insight. I think you made a good point, which is potentially true - I could have confused posts talking about Chemdawg '91 (The Original diesel) with Original Diesel aka Diesel No.1, Daywrecker etc. which has the SS/NL.

I've heard incredible things about the LVPK, many people end up having it as their keeper stoned to the bone strain. I heard the yield on it is crazy, bottom hidden nugs are dense as golf balls. How is the taste on her, is it towards the Purple Kush - Fruity Pebbles taste? Those tastes can be as enjoyable Chemdog crosses =]

On a side note, wouldn't it be incredible once cannabis is legalized to create a Cannabis Genetic Gnome project, where strain genetics could be accurately stored and tested - and with enough strains stored in the database - one might even be able to deduce some of the genetics behind mystery strains. This could be incredibly useful for breeders. I think Japan is already starting one, but for the wrong reasons - for testing non-THC agricultural crops quickly - to see if they are strains with THC.

For the past couple years I had been under the impression that OG Kush was an S1 of Chem 91 - and still give it credence. But having smoked the Chem '91 cut multiple times since learning that - I realized it is very much a head high for a chemdawg. '91's high profile is way more in the sativa spectrum than the indica spectrum which many of the other chem's reside, Chem D etc. However, we all know about the unpredictability of recessive expressions - and it's more than possible that the Tahoe and SFV started out as straight Chem 91 S1's. There is definitely a leaning towards indicas in the Chemdog gene pool, and S1's can bring out recessive genes. Furthermore, OG Kush does express a decent amount of sativa qualities in the high.

It wasn't until recently that I saw those posts - I was consistently wondering where that lemon background/taste/smell came from in a lot of the OG Kush varieties - Chem 91 really doesn't have much of a Lemon taste/smell at all. Really Chem '91 tastes like ECSD if you took out some of the extra Skunk and Hawaiian aspects from the Original Sour Diesel pallet. So I was fascinated by the potential of Lemon Thai and Old world kush being bred into some of the OG's. And ideas for breeding Lemon Thai into many OG strains/crosses to bring out more of the soaring thai head high in OG's. I think that would make some of them even more out of this world. It could very well have just been Chem 91 that was S1'ed into OG Kush, or rather a '91 S1 was possibly later bred to Lemon Thai - and maybe Paki/Affie Kush.

If you think I'm inaccurate about anything, definitely let me know. My main goal is research and accuracy.

Dank Regards,

Bi0hazard

Hey brother - there is a cannabis genome project. I remember a post on here not to long ago about a seriously reputable scientist / inventor working on it. If I remember right it was some fella who developed a machine that allowed the human genome to be sequenced, and he has now begun mapping cannabis sativa. I believe data is already available online / in journals. :tiphat:

Dreary day today out here... Time to take a mess of cuttings & start some new lives :jump: -- VADO/Otto: one of the p98bk x nl5/hz is throwing the bigggggest fans, I'm thinking this might be a p98bk leaning pheno. The other ones have more of a squat indica leaf.

I donno if it's the blue spectrum, lst, or just being from seed, but the stalks on these plants are quite large & extremely strong.

Chaco, nothing like a good mind fuck and agreed weed has made me feel "trippy" before but not to the point of eating some stems with closed caps or high quality lsd, that shit is in a league of its own...

What a long strong trip its been....

Yea man, boomers can be a very intense experience especially if you eat too much...I find that they're actually more "intense" then lsd which to me is more mellow and visual rather than body and mind which is what I get out of them, I hate the feeling of them sitting in my stomach as well not pleasant.

heheheh... sometimes that's just the kinda trip a person needs! One that really knocks you off your axis. Keyword is sometimes. But it does help to be prepared for it and know ahead of time just what may come, though ya can never really tell. I'm quite fond of the magic. :)

Speaking of Head Trips... here's one from Bodhi. This pic is about a week old or so, gotta get some new shots of them because they're blowing up faster than I need them to.

I'm also quite fond of the magic. A key way to prepare it is to make Tea, almost all the negative side effects related to them seem to go away and it's a much clearer journey - mentally. Rather than eating them raw, which can cause stomach discomfort and also gives me this rollarcoaster (my stomach is dropping) feeling the next couple days.

The preparation takes less than 5 minutes:

a) Just grind them up to as close as power as possible
b) Start to boil water - but turn off the stove as soon as you get the first little bubble appearing in the water (before it actually boils).
c) (Make sure stove flame is off) then throw in the ground up magic's - and put the lid on top of the water.
d) Wait 15-20 minutes - Lift the lid up sideways (vertical) so the condensation drips back into the pan then drain all the water/mushroom through a Coffee Filter into a glass.
e) Add a tea bag or two, and get ready to go on a journey in 15-25 minutes.

Overall its a much smoother, clearer and less emotionally draining the following days - in a good way - the insights still stay.

Happy warm winter all.

Nothing better than nice dose of Psilocybin (if that's the right spellin to lazy to google.). -active ingredient in mushrooms. By the way not that it matters. But. To ease off a heavy trip on booms. "SUGAR". Supposedly it counteracts with Psilocybin. So if it's to intense just dump a sugar packet or 3 into ur Mouth Hole. FriggiN Line one up if ud like. Def helps. I've mistakenly eaten a quarter One time. Due to my dumb stoner friends giving menthe wrong bag. I was like "guys. Why the fuck am I the only jerkoff still not done with his bag yet". Friend- "oh Shit! Um.... Dude I think u just ate the 1/4 bag not 1/8". As Pink Floyd Pulse concert playing on TV in backroynd I'm like. Yup def Banged out

Quick smoke report on the Ace of Spades... omfg 2 hit's and and my mind was dancing a jig. Will do a decent one once they have dried and cured properly (to the best of my ability). This bud only had a few days dry and I finished it off in the toaster oven. Picked up bubble bags today.... watched subs video and will attempt to duplicate except in 5 gallon buckets.

Life is good,

I thought that concrete was a heat sink CHACO - meaning that it retains ambiEnt air temps, but feels colder because it's literally pulling the heat out of your body... But I guess that means it's also pulling the heat out of the pots :tiphat:
