looking nice and frosty around here lately :tiphat:.

So I got in touch with my German roots tonight, made home made pretzels, way better than the ones they sell on the corner streets in NYC. Washed it down with a nice beer and couple chem sister rips, life is good. :)

Stardawg is probably the best all around chem I've grown, just such a well balanced plant of everything a grower wants. Here is some at day 30

That homemade German food takes too long to prepare, I took the lazy american route of having someone else cook me something this morning. Still all homemade food to be honest just not German. Donuts, egg and cheese sandwhich, and rips of #1 for me this morning. These two older lesbians run a tiny kitchen in the middle of no where, such kick ass breakfast food and these donuts are the best I've ever had.

Fuck dude, I wake up and see food porn and am suddenly taking a drive for Sunday morning coffee and pecan sticky buns.

GWB glad to see you are doing alright and that case is getting handled. Don't wish that trouble upon anyone.

Hahah Otto's getting us all motivated to eat ;-) ..... Nothing better than a morning drive with a cup of coffee and a smoke.

I gotta start posting pics of my ribs I'm working on perfecting... Found a local source of just about the best meat I've ever had, and with a little love from my homemade BBQ sauce & honey mustard she's hard to beat... Mmm, I'm planning on opening some food trucks this year so I been messing around with recipes and smokers (not ppl, lol) as much as i can.

Look at all those wine corks!!! Otto I smell a wedding in your future:). No I agree that the good ol' D is a sure favorite.I smoked my first Stardawg joint 3 days back and it was quite effective.I still have to cut the lowers, it's a gorgeous plant.I have a big one in 15gal of coco about 7 days into flower. My flower room is such a jungle, my organization skills need improvement indeed. When I pulled out a few 9'ers and the Stardawg top end the Chem D X PK really came out into the light. She seems to want to go 80 days but for one female, it's a taste of good fortune.I'll try to steal my kids batteries and get a pic before lights on....
On another note, Avid works wonders in eliminating every single pest.It must destroy mite eggs as well because normally even after a good cleaning a few would show up near the end if mites had been in the room before.I don't even have an earwig in that room.A thrip or two should have shown up by now...:blowbubbles:

Slip, I am glad my gf doesn't come on this site and read your post, or else I may have to hunt ya down and break your fingers so you couldn't type for a min :). JK, she enjoys her wine and why the hell not she puts up with me, she's got corks filled up in jars all over the place you can imagine the fights we get in after I harvest and need a few extra. Too much in student loans debts for us too think about anything other than well......DEBT! I am lucky I only got my undergrad in business and minor in writing and since I hate debt, after college once i started growing I've wasted a lot of the money I've made on paying back my loans, only 7g's left until I am done for good :woohoo:. Sallie Mae hates me because they aren't getting the interest they like to see, they literally told me over the phone I'll get a worse credit score if I pay it back so quickly, didn't make much sense to me either. The GF on the other hand decided to get her masters which was great for her resume but when the loans came back those monthly payments are either insanely high, if you pay less the interest rates are ridiculous, and on top of that she deferred her undergrad loans while she was in the masters program so now she getting whacked for both for the next 12-18 years or so. Ok I think I rambled enough this morning....time to feed.

That's why I said "fuck college" after my soccer scholarship got pulled; I fucked my knee real bad one too many time :-/ ..that ended my west coast adventure & brought me back east, some years ago now. Quite honestly, I've known since I was a little kid that schoolin weren't my thang, I've always been a hands on kinda guy. So after some hard thinking it just made sense for me to step into the working world rather than stack up ridiculous debt. Bottom line, most shit in this world happens thru networking, so if you keep a good circle of friends there's always opportunities. It's worked out fine for me thus far, and hell I'm only getting started! Food trucks, farms, and framing is my future.

Good day everyone!

CDM - it looks like your cheesedog has some roots that decided to wild out above the coco.
Was that something done intentionally? If so, how does it help you?

Hope you guys have a great week :)
Ahmen to this weather!

yea college loans can be rough going--lot of people who took out loans are having hard times finding jobs to pay them back. Almost predatory lending with the interest if you miss a few payments.

I was lucky enough to go to college before it cost as much as an average home. I was also fortunate enough to have 2 jobs the whole time. One yr I was the over night guy at a 7-11 in San Diego, the kind that sold single cigs for 25 cents. Nice neighborhood!!
Now since it seems everyone has to go to college they can charge an arm and a leg and some of the debt is incredible, some are well into their 30's before it's paid.I bet less than half of the people my age went to school past 12th grade...the funniest but most terrible fact is that the kids who went straight to work are doing as well or better than the rest of us.I know a few people I finished with holding down 9-5 jobs at about 75-100k a yr, can't smoke and want to kill their boss everyday.Around my way the carpenters, plumbers and electricians are doing better financially without question.
I wouldn't change a thing though. Colleges in the 80's were begging for applicants that could pay the bills plus I probably had to listen to The Cure more than everyone here combined!!!:)
