Slip, the best I ever had the SFV looking was when she was eating alongside ECSD and I was picking your brain on a good GH schedule. Mostly a 6-9-6 ml ratio of Micro,Bloom,CalMag+. Add Liquid Kool bloom as a boost. Drop the Micro and switch to powdered Kool bloom when the swell begins. I got my "ECSD Chaco Calendar" somewhere in my belongings, right next to my diploma and the title to my car:)

Got her looking great, Otto.

Yup, I just threw her into flower and made some cuts. The thing grew 6" in 3 days of 12/12!! I have a bunch of clones just rooted that I piled into 4gal pots of coco just to see how they do.They're all clones of the big sour bx's I have in the same room.I'm working on growing the OG clones up to a decent size so I can have a good mom to keep giving me fresh cuts. I've loved the OG buds I've smoked in the past, no matter what people want to say, these are popular for a good reason...I love all diff kinds of buds so I like to have a little bit of everything around, plus it's hard to beat the smell of something like that Tahoe which is the only OG cut I've smoked that I know of.:)

It's nuts what the State & towns will get out of this, w/ all the permit & application fees.
The State added that a dispensary has to use a 3rd party laboratory to test their buds, another cost.
It'd be a better business move to start a lab! :D

YESS. in fact the best fact i ever heard was relating the " Gold Rush " an comparing it to the next MMJ movement. The People during the gold rush that supplied the " Supply's to mine" or bought the gold from the miners, made far more money then miners as a percentage. There where some miners that hit it big, but the other 98% didnt. But that 98% bought those supplies!!! b-safe

okay, so i got a question for LED users out there.... Highlighter, DHZ....

how high do you hang your fixtures above canopy? what wattage are y'all using? im fairly certain im getting some gnarly LED burn on the fans.

ChemDgMillionre, I keep 'em a minimum 16", often 24".

After having them 12" on my Apollo's (EastCoastHaze, nice Apollo btw!)
and seeing some negative affects, I raised them to 16" and no problems.
Last winter w/ the HW crosses I had to raise them to 24" but wasn't positive it was all the LED's, as we had some freak high temps early spring, and I was using too much hardener as they finished.
Pretty much ruined all the main colas, calyx's brittle & brown. Holding on to 'em for an oil run, just been lazy. I have a real love/hate relationship w/ oil. :)

See how unappealing this finished. A lot of bleached out leaves and calyx's.

18" minimum, up to 28 inches. Too low and it can cause localized heating and burn the leaves, or also incomplete color mixing.... both can cause photo-inhibition. Not will, but can. I have a big reveg that has stretched up closer than I would like and she is fine... it seems if they put themselves there it's okay... I think they shift their color pigment. The first few weeks under the LED they are a different color than when you harvest them. Nice shade of green in veg, move them under the LED and they get a lighter color, by the time you harvest they are the greenest plant I have ever seen. Does not seem to impact the brix reading.

5 watt LEDs may be even higher, I use 3's. I am growing with 33 watts per square foot of LED...you probably added that on top of your normal lighting situation.

I noticed a marked increase in water uptake under the LED also. Which panels are causing this?

it does seem to be the higher wattage fixtures causing the prob, and it is probably worst under the 5w ones. ive got them around 18-24" right now, so im glad you said around 30" DZL (sorry i always mess up ur name, im so blaezd i finally realized what it means) cus my next move is to mount them around 30-36" from tops. hard to tell if water uptake increased as everything is at a different point and drinks accordingly.

ECH -- nice looking plants brother, some interesting crosses there forsure. good luck with it brotha.

.....these big plants have been a new learning curve, and i still got a while to go til i get this room dialed. can't wait to see how the 6/9 works out for me. also cleaning up alot more laarf than i have been on them.. was leaving it for BHO material, but its just a nightmare come trim time.. and of course its lowering my yields.

cgm, big fan of the 6/9 with cal-mag @ 3mpg when young, @5mill per gal when older, then pk & organic additives when needed. Run silica blast @5 mil per gal. Silica blast was a huge improvement!!!!!!!!!!! Big fan!!!! i run 5.8 in hydro, done!!. best of luck....

thanks for the advice bro, i appreciate everyones input on this. i got big bottles of silica and cal/mag on the shelf, so thats good. i never have any problems in veg, everything always looks great once its beyond clone stage.. so i plan on using the rest of my Cyco veg nutes til they are out, and flip to 6/9 around 7-10 days into flower.

cal/mag every time @ 4-6ml? silica every now and then?.. my veg nutes are pretty stocked in silica. i plan on using koolbloom as a booster, just to keep it simple.. have a big bottle of bloom-bastic, but i think i remember some of y'all saying it was no good.

also going to run maxibloom KISS on a few of them to see what i like better. not sure about using a booster with this since its already a booster.. def cal/mag and some silica.

I don't think you can use too much silicone . Sometimes I use 2 tablespoons in every 5gal jug of mix, veg or flower . I've yet to see a problem . The bugs are the only ones with the problems, biting through those thick leaves the silicone makes . The only trouble I've had this season was leaving plants in beer cups for too long, damn if I didn't know already but they start to look like they have every problem under the sun and it's just a too small container . I also planted too many seeds for my own good and forgot I only had an 8x8 room and not a football field.:) Sometimes I wonder about myself, my planning skills are far from perfect.

Silica every feed!
I've been trying to adhere to my H&G feeding schedule, using just the H&G additives, as I know they have silica in them, but next run I'll be back to silica blast. Still boosting w/ cal/mag, they can't get enough of that. :D

I'm a huge fan of Dyna Grow too, I still throw in some silica blast, I can't help myself. It's much easier than creating a good veg mix from GH 3 part, at least for me.I've had great results in coco.Dyna Bloom is good too.:)

Planted and caged up a couple groups of plants .... Transplanted from solo(coco) ....... Digging up the ground ..... Very fertile and rich lots o worms ..... Massive worms ..... I'm talking 6" or bigger ..... Great for fishing

Plants put out are 2 CJ, 2 CJ/sb, 1 midnight madness x c+, bs2.2, pre98 bubba x strawberry diesel, 8 blue blood(s99Xabusive kushaze)

The ones put out last week are going strong .... Setting up roots ..... Already grew an inch or so ..... This week I'll bend em all over as it's too late to top them

Really looking forward to the nl5Haze ..... If she does well I'll put a big bush out next June

On a sad note I lost a good pair of ray bans out there .... Maybe I'll find em on these next visits

I found this smelly grape pheno in a pile of Sour Nevilles X ECSD seeds. She's under low light but I had to take some clones because of the heavy grapeness. It's been forever since I had a grape type plant, maybe since Sensi' Mr Nice!!:)
