Has the sp6500 been withdrawn?
Each to their own and in legal areas, I guess who cares, but personally in illegal areas, I wouldn't want a grow light to be "smart" due to the searchability of it by unfriendly agents who maybe driving around looking for such devices.
I have an fc3000, TS2000L TS1000's, and an sp150. I like them all, although my TS2000l is the first version and the TS1000's being the second version. So I can't comment on the new TS models. The FC is my favourite. It's dumb, but that's how I like em.

Ultimate control of your environment, unfortunately this is not always the case due to temperature influxes etc. all the fancy gadgets and pimped out grow room won’t make a blind bit of difference.

Having a dialled in environment is key, more important than your choice of fancy seeds..
