What is your native soil like ? I’m a big fan of in ground grows ,by me I can tell just by looking at what kind of weeds are growing

Half of the SSSTN Fluffy pheno is jarred.
Presently at a drop site until I can move it to proper storage in a few days.
The other half is dried but still in the 'laundry' if you know what I mean.
The rest of the Grail project NLD pheno is also in the 'laundry'.

I still have literally branches and branches of the Grail x ThaiFrican hanging on the walls.
A big cob? Maybe. I know where to source some bamboo now.

Day something something of flowering, who knows? who really cares?

Meanwhile, the 'little' ones (now more like the short but chonky ones):

First, the pretty delicate Lady Pearl.
She's looking done, to be honest, but ... will get her later this week, I hope.

Next, this girl, looks a bit rough, but the flower development is on point.

There is another girl who is like a slimmer version of the above.
But she looks even more battered, so no pics of her -- she's a bit shy, shall we say?

Then we have a couple of ladies who are lovely and green, though with a bit of bug damage.

Her shape looks a lot like their mom, but she's a bit thicker.
Is going to be some seriously delicious and potent herb, I just know it!
That top bud has a nice wobble on it when you shake it (I know you all do this with your top colas!)

And the last, more open and airy, and also with longer to go in her flowering cycle.
This is the lady I showed in the last update pics.

Her size is the proverbial American football, and she's still filling out a lot.

Let's just say that I am extremely excited to see how this bud shapes up and smokes.
Their faster sister, that I called the SSSDH pheno, is dried and jarred.
She has some serious diesel terps on her, good thick sati-dom hybrid flower.
And these ladies her are definitely more on the sativa side.
Apart from Lady Pearl and the big puffy slow girl, the others have a nice sati-dom hybrid look to them.
The Pearl and puffy really let the Thai genetics shine out.

And, if I may, these may end up being better quality flower than the big girls who had to endure all that terrible fall weather, multiple typhoons, etc.
Temps are getting lower, of course, but we know from last year that they should be okay.
Apart from the slow puffy girl, who will be airy enough to resist later humidity and cold,
the rest may be finished between now and late Dec / early Jan.

May the sun shine with touches of rain to keep them happy but low humidity.

I find that the flowers on the big bud (last pic) lean on the colombian side of things, the structure of the flower. I know its a poly hybrid but seems like a strong trait.

It's pretty good, nice color and texture, though a lot of rocks.
But here, it's like a building site, most areas concreted / paved, and lots of construction waste laying around.
In ground is too low, in front of the apartments, like a valley, not enough sun shine.
Also open to anyone who walks in.
Up here, people don't see it unless they climb a few floors in this apartment.
Though I'd ideally be in the ground, not in pots.

The specific traits described by you and others in his recent work are more inline with the best of the original 5haze work than many of the claims out there. Well done!

What specific traits are you seeing here?
Most of these girls have a fair amount of Nevil's Haze in them, with various Thais (Swiss Thai and Hempy's Thai), as well as the Mullumbimby (which also has Thai), and then the Kariba, the SSSDH, and the Jones.

I don’t wanna start a haze discussion on your thread. Maybe I’m just seen what I wanna see in terms of the flower clusters looking Colombian, it may well be a Thai trait, hence my confusion with haze being a Colombian/thai something else poly hybrid… lots of haze in the cross = lots of possibilities

Little update.
In general, from the more pitiful looking girls, to the fancy ladies.
Don't ask me what day of flower, I have no idea.
(Could check, but... too lazy!)

First, though, Lady Pearl.
Cut her down today.
She's now hanging on the wall.

I also cut down this girl.
She is the most battered, and shy.
Didn't realize she still had a few white pistils until I had cut her already.
Still, those mature calyxes look juicy!

This lady will be next.
She's very similar, but bigger, and not so battered.

Then we have this Thicc Chicc.
Serious haze hybrid vibes here.
Dense enough for some weight to come, but open enough to avoid the nasties.
About 1/3rd brown pistils, but many more fresh flowers still to pop.
At least a few more weeks for this girl.

And last but not least, this very Thai Haze (I guessing!) pheno.
Almost can't see any brown matured pistils / calyxes.
Though even the fresh calyxes are quite large, Thai style.
Flowers popping out left right and center.
At least a month to go here, so another mid-winter harvest for me!

Yeah, I think so!
She's just getting warmed up at this point.
Those little side buds are popping out more side buds,
and it's just those single leaflet inner leaves and calyxes piled on each other.
She's just be a single bud mass in the end.

It's really strange.
I mentioned earlier that the older plants, including the seed-stock and re-vegged plants,
all had really small calyxes and less trichome development this round,
and were a little bit leafier than last time.
I thought it was something in the soil mix, maybe too much N?
But these seven little seed plants are in the same pot!
But their calyx and flower growth is more 'normal', meaning regular size calyxes and trichome development.
It's really weird, and I'm still wondering what the reason is/was.
But glad that these girls are looking stellar, even if they're just so small.

Weather has been unusually cold this year for late fall / early winter.
Follows up on the extremely wet and windy fall weather.
At least it's not too wet now, and despite the cold and cloudy weather,
there's been no fog so far or extreme humidity.
Hopefully things continue okay into the rest of December and January for these young ones.

Yeah, it's weird.
Like, may be the cold, but it was already happening back in like Sept to Oct, and it wasn't cold then.
Though it was very cloudy and not much direct sun.
Never mind, problem is gone now.
It's a pleasure growing these cultivars of yours, it really is.
I will hit you up for those seeds, maybe a bit later.
