I've been looking at the blueberry pancakes but it never seems in stock..

You trying to source directly from HSC, or elsewhere?
The Pancakes must be new, from the Muffin.
Sounds like fire!

This is the most intriguing setting for a grow log ever. Wish I could hike thru there

Thanks for the visit, nice you could stop by!

Sparkling sativa-haze hope on a background of dystopian urban decay.
With bats.

I am soooo looking forward to doing a harvest photoshoot where I'll use this street art as background pics.

Beautiful plants, top stuff 👍👍
Little worrying about the branch you mentioned… any possibility of an anti fungal spray just in case?
It must be amazing to grow in such a location :tiphat: All the best
A little worrying, but a check today suggests it's stopped and not getting worse.
I removed the little branch in question.

Here's a pic for ya --

I went in today for a specific mission.
The little seedlings ---- SSSTN (Sticky) x ThaiFrican ---- have been sitting in the direct sun, no water, being even more cruelly treated than in the past, rootbound, not happy.
I was originally planning on putting them in Garden 2.
But decided I don't need the flower, but would like a few grains of pollen to try to pollinate their mother, the gorgeous SSSTN Sticky pheno.
So I just dropped them into the sides of the biggest pot with the Grail x ThaiFricans and L'n'L girls.
They are quite shaded there, and won't grow well for lack of light and space.
But like I say, I don't care, if one of them grows 12" tall and has some pollen, that's all I'm looking for.

The other issue of the seemingly clawed leaves has gone today.
Maybe it was just a watering issue, as I've sometimes seen that.
N toxicity would usually be clawing plus dark green, but she didn't have the dark green.
The tallest Grail x ThaiFrican may just be tufting up at the tips with some pistils.
Is it time!?!

Here is the wall of green today:

Front: one revegged Grail NLD pheno (= (NvHz 18 x Mullumbimby) x (NvHz 18 x Mullumbimby Long))

Middle / left: two Grail x ThaiFrican (= Outback Haze x (NvHz 23 x Kariba)) seed plants; one Lemon 'n' Lime Jones (= Casey Jones x SSSDH)
(Plus seven tiny stunted unhappy little SSSTN x ThaiFrican babies hiding underneath as mentioned in the post above.)

Back / right: two revegged Super Silver Sour Thai Neville (Sticky and Fluffy) = Thai Neville x SSSDH (OJD's cut)

Tallest Grail x ThaiFrican is now taller than me in the pot!

Day 133

Did a visit more to keep on top of the watering than anything else.
Lots of sun, temps around high of 33C, overnight low maybe 28.
A touch of rain last few days, nothing much, more good weather to come.
Front gate still not fixed, so it's an easy in and out.
Also used today's visit to explore where to dry after harvest.
A couple of apartments over are some perfect spaces.
Found some more cool street art while I was exploring.

Family pics:

Right: two revegged SSSTN (Sticky and Fluffy)

They don't normally sit here, this is a photo shoot pose.
Usually they're over here, edge of the balcony, so I can only get side shots like this:

Great big mass of stems, branches and leaves in there!
The L'n'L girl is somewhat hidden, tucked away inside, but still getting a fair amount of sunlight.

Taller Grail x ThaiFrican

Very healthy, thank you!
The little issue recently of the withered branch is past.
She's healthy and strong enough to heal herself -- wonderful genetics!
This tall lady is now standing about 160 cm = 5'3".
Bigger side branches are up to 70 cm long = 28", lots of them!
She's starting to flower at the tips.
She showed sex months ago, but the increasing light at the time meant it didn't last long.
After, no pistils at all on the tips and branches, but she is showing now.
Flowering begins!

Medium Grail x ThaiFrican

Looking lovely and healthy!
A bit more branching on this girl now.
She stands about 130 cm or so, = 4'3".
She's started flowering, showing a few pistils up top, which she hasn't done for a while now.
She showed sex months ago, but the light meant she just showed but then into veg.
Now it's time for her to properly flower!

Lemon 'n' Lime Jones

Pretty leafy bud so far, but she's barely starting, so this could get interesting.
Seeing her very dark leaves, maybe the N is a little high for her, but I'd rather dark green and healthy than pale and struggling.

Peace and Love,

Day 133

Two Revegged Super Silver Sour Thai Neville (Sticky and Fluffy)

PXL_20240801_014454734.jpg

When they flower, these two girls are very different --
Sticky is a long open bud, huge calyxes, very sticky, few leaves, like a frond.
Fluffy is rounded buds, tiny calyxes and more leafy.
But in veg they are very similar, with some slight differences.
The tallest is about 120 cm tall, about 4'.

I'm not 100% sure who is who in there, but I think that:
Sticky is taller, a little thicker stems, slightly more branching up top.
Fluffy is slightly shorter, slightly more delicate.

Here are a couple of pics of the growing tops, from both plants I think.

PXL_20240801_014617945.jpg

Also the very picture of good health.
She's about 115 cm = 45" or so.
Several longer tops are shooting away, themselves showing nice branching.
And a lot of smaller tops lower down but still very strong.
Doesn't seem to be flowering yet, but any day now.

First round with this girl, she showed sex a bit slower than the faster and chunkier Grail pheno.
That Grail pheno is the mother of the Grail x ThaiFrican.
So it's no surprise that the seed plants of the Grail x ThaiFrican cross are showing before this Grail NLD girl.

Meanwhile, hidden away ...

Seven SSSTN (Sticky) x ThaiFrican seedlings

Well, these little babies look much, much happier to be out of their tiny shoes and with their aunty and friends.
Whether it's the natural leaf compost or the Osmocote, their color is suddenly green again!

As I mentioned previously, I don't need, don't even want, these little ones to get big.
Just grow a little, stay alive, and when they start to flower, give me a nice male to back cross to their mother, Sticky SSSTN, to preserve her wonderful genetics a bit longer.
Since they are so small, they're going to be a month behind the big girls.
Unplanned, but actually perfect to have any pollen ready when the ladies have decent pistil production!

Peace and Love,

Good morning Maria. I had an idea while reading through your posts. Maybe rain is good now but if you still are a little short in water think about bringing a water proof container up with you and leaving it. When it rains this will fill and when you come up you will have a small supplement if needed.

Good job on the plants. Still haven’t forgotten about the mm x HZ21 cob. I’m currently hitting a bunch of stuff though. One interesting one is nan blouchou or close spelling. I still have half a Punta Rosa cob also. I’ll get to it...

If it gets very hot, dry, and no rain, and I can't get to the garden for maybe 5-7 days, then the pots will need water.
But I definitely am not short of water on site.
The balcony downstairs of the girls has formed a pool/pond of rainwater, and it's got maybe a few thousand liters of water in it, all the time!
And there is a 20 L bucket I have stashed nearby.
I just walk downstairs to the pond, scoop about 10 L (any more and it's too heavy to carry up the stairs for me!) and water them.
I do a couple of trips each visit now, about 10-15 L per plant box.
Ideal situation, huh?
Sure beats how I used to water some of my grows a few years ago...

My NvHz18 x MM X NvHz21 x MML revegged girl is getting big, almost 5' tall now.
Think I will cob some of her at the end, along with the other girls' harvest, too.

Care to share any pics of your cobs?

Have you made cobs before and how did it go? I am going to try the Tangwena method of making Malawi-Cob this fall if the heat and grasshoppers leave me any MMJ. I already have the vacuum food saver machine and that method looks like it would work.
