Remember these pictures are cropped. You should see the full pictures. Amazing.
I have a question. My plants according to foomar and many others ," Plants need 35 days from pollination to produce good seed in quantity." , have gone long enough to produce good seeds. Some of the plants have seeds peeping out of the calyxes. On some of the others they are still covered. To test I removed a seed from the calyx on one plant and it looked OK if just slightly green. Here's what I'm getting at. If the seeds are not visible in a split calyx will they be a bitch to get out without screwing up the weed? Put a different way if the seeds are still in the calyx covering the seed and the calyx is not split. When the plant dries will the calyx split making removal of the seeds easy? I would rather they go longer if I have to do major digging and surgery to get the seeds out. What to do? Any ideas?

Harvest the seeded budz last - if you take the colas or main buds, leave the bud/pods just a little longer to ripen...

They look nice and frosty....

If you plan on doing many seed runs get a kief box. I let my buds get brittle when I do seed runs and I just crush them up in the kief box so I can collect all that goodness.

I find the leftovers from seeded buds really stoney good for all sorts of projects. You can do a oil or hash run sometimes I just roll it all up into joints.

If you have lots of buds to smoke just vaccum pack it and put it away for a rainy day.

Well dried and seeds removed. They smell divine. I dried them in a cold place very slowly. Before I put them in there I sprayed the whole area with potassium bicarbonate which kills mold. I cleaned the seeds out by squeezing the buds like toothpaste and popping out the seeds with my finger nail. Scraped a half inch ball of hash off my fingers getting the seeds out. The yield is pitiful. Of course what do you expect growing in 32oz. cups. Out of twelve plants, one of them being a Blue Barrel AK from Dutchgrown, I got 38 grams of very dry and extremely manicured weed. 40 grams of seeds :). More seeds than weed. I have no idea how many seeds this is. It's a lot. I'm going to count out about 3 or 4 hundred then weigh them. Should give me a ball park figure on seed numbers. I expected a low yield. I planted in cups to maximize the number of different plants. That way my seeds will be as diverse as possible. Now I'm going to plant a few more and try to Fem them.

I need to add I also have about a coffee can full of trim. I didn't weigh and it's mixed up with some other trim. So I should get some hash too. I trimmed it very close. The small trim leaves were so coated you could get a fierce buzz on those alone.

I weighed 259 seeds and got 4.31g. . This puts the # of seeds by weight at 2,404 seeds. Holy shit that's a lot. I was afraid I wouldn't have enough. I don't think that's problem. I believe I got a little to handy with the pollen. I separated them all by the plant and which pollen was used on each plant.

That's great! you got around 2,500~ from how many pollinated plants?

12 but remember this is a guess based on weighing them. Should be + - a hundred or so. I'm not going to count them all.

Good stuff man, I'm doing a feminized seed run of blue streaks, only 4 plants though, in a 6.8 cubic ft chamber with 345W CFL (5 liter 20cmx20cm square pots), hopefully I'll get enough to donate! can't wait to smoke em too ;] cheers!

What are you doing to Fem them? I would like to know what method, what timing, and are you starting them at the same time? I wish to do the same. I would be a great help if I could copy what you did.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm going to make my own colloidal silver and start spraying a female when it starts showing pre-flowers, this will turn it into a hermie and give feminized pollen, then I'll pollinate the other females and get feminized seeds, and yes I started growing them all at the same time, but you don't have to do that, you can save the pollen for later on then use it, but note that the female you turn into a hermie must not be smoked nor use the seeds it produces itself. check this for more info http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=60610&highlight=colloidal+silver

Best of luck!
