I really like this cultivar/pheno. She was green all the way an in flush she went totally disco:greenstars:

Flower day 60- clearly visible amber tricholmes, so she is ripe in 8 Weeks.
The Terps are still very fruity, like a tropical mix, nice and sweet too. Can't wait to explore the effects.

Thanks for your work Karma.

Cool, looking those buds she must be a good yielder as well, good idea to have cloned her she totally deserves more runs and if you're lucky those calyxes will be even bigger on the clones. I don't know how your plants react but my clones have usually bigger calyxes than the seed plants and tighter buds as well.

The plant in the picture is already the 2nd run and a clone. I can't make a comparison to the seedplant as I killed that run because of powdery mildew. I had clones made before that so as I was killing the plants I smelled them and kept 2 clones of the best smelling.

I will test the weed now for the first time and that is actually where the final decision is made if I keep it for good.

OK you had a wild ride to get this harvest, you deserve a good smoke after this, I'd be devastated to cull plants before having smoked them because of mildew or any other plague. Thankfully you had clones to replace the seedlings.

I grow only as many seed plants as I can keep backup plants, always. I grow seeds only to look for something new and so it's the most important thing to save a clone and keep it all the way until you can smoke the weed.
Growing seeds in general is too unpredictable. I enjoy a lot more growing preselected clones- legendary or just from friends. Every clone is a lot of work in selections, so if a friend says they found something it's always a thrill to take it for a ride and vice versa. Like 95% is clones and 5% is some seeds on the side like your weekly lottery ticket waiting to hit the jackpot:bongsmi:

A wild ride it was, sometimes there is nothing else left then to cut the losses and start fresh. It's the worst nightmare, no doubt.

I dried it very carefully, but when it was finished I was disappointed. All the fruity Terps just went away and it just smells a bit sweet. Even if you break the buds apart. I pressed some Rosin from it and was better, so I think I will use the flower just for extracts. Its kind of sad, very actually, I already had the mother plant ready to drop clones for a whole bed, but now she's gone.
I have one more, the #5 but my hopes are not very high.

I think I am done here. Maybe I'll come back to the rest of the pack another time.

I just say how it is. Try to be polite, but frank.

and frankly i dont know what to pop anymore. Popped some nirvana, some Sensi, some KC, some Karma. No luck I guess. Story of my life:p I got more luck in keeping what others found rather than finding some myself.

I picked up some Soma, but after they recommended to pop at least 20 seeds to find something good, I just tossed those in the fridge.

What am I to do with all that weed from the other 19 plants? Nowadays one plant dropps like 50-100g. I am gonna grow like 1-2kg of 'jack in the box' weed just to get 100g of what it is actually advertised. The simple math of it..

So all the Mango Lassi Weed is gone.
I pressed 90% of the flower into rosin and shred with some friends and their feedback was very positive.
The flower didn't express everything that was hidden in them. The rosin was very fruity and many said they could smell and taste clear mango terps.

Still it all doesn't come close to what the live plant smelled like. It was a tropical fruit bomb!
If one made live hash or live rosin, I am sure it would be outstanding.

Something in the flower is hiding it all away. Even curing for over one month did not improve the terps on the flower.

That's a very strange situation, if the rosin is good how can the flowers covered with the resin making the rosin not be ? I don't do any rosin but the process use only heat and pressure it should have the same terpene profile than flowers, no ?

I thought the same.
My friends were very surprised, too, when I showed them the flower AFTER they smoked the rosin.
With flower rosin I would assume the same.
Live rosin has its unique smell just from the hash production, but flower rosin should smell the same as the flower only stronger.

Flower smells like sweet cookies
Rosin smells like a fruit basket with mango on top

Anyway I thought it was worth sharing
