Man vs. Mouse

yea thats completely normal.. Cats always ( all the cats I have ever had anyway ) "play" with there prey before killing it. The last outside cat we had would hunt everyday even though there was always food for it in its food dish.. Its just in them to do so.. She would kill 8-10 rodents per week from the back yard and adjecent field. Mostly little shrews and a few mice ,etc. What was so odd was that she would kill them and not eat them, but instead bring them and lay there dead bodies at our back porch steps.. Kind of like a "Look what I did" type of thing.. I love cats. Cats rock.

Yes, they're so proud of their work! We used to have a cat that would jump off the porch to kill birds and then leave em in front of the door. My sister sure loved that when she was little, lol.

Damn mice ate 4 out of 5 of my Papaya seeds before they even sprouted! How they got up on that indoor table I will never figure out?

Anyways...spring traps with peanut butter brought the guility to justice...(sorta...the one remaining papaya seed was male...:chin:..)

I still haven't caught it. But no more plants gone. The first ones the mouse got she piled up in a air vent. I think it was to build a nest. I put those in a cloner. Maybe I can save them. The next set of plants I have no idea where they went. Looked all over. Sneaky bitch.
I've got some 16 gauge electric fence wire. I'm about to move my grow space and I'm going to string that stuff all over. Before this a mouse ate all my auto diesel sprouts. I killed it with peanut butter baited traps. It seems I now have another. Don't have a IR video camera. Wish I did. Love to see the mouse squeal.

One of my favorite "Married with Children" episodes is when Al goes after the mouse in his house. ...of course, the mouse won.

I hate my cat and the cat hates me. I love my girlfriend and she loves her cat. So the cat and I tolerate each other.

Around this time of year the people living below us have troubles with mice. The stupid cat keeps most of them away from our apt though. When they do brave a visit to our pad, kitty kills them and drags them in front of my shrieking and fainting girlfriend.

Now if I could do something about the f*cking cat hair in my rez, on my fans and statically charged to my polly.

Edit:

Also, one time the cat layed down on a piece of glass I had under the trim/popcorn bud screens in order to catch falling trichomes, picking up lots of resin and leaving lots of cat hair.

Why I don't want a cat. First, I hate cats. That wouldn't stop me though if they would only catch mice. Second, I've seen several threads where the cats get in the plants and destroy them. My luck if I got a cat it would be a bud eater.

I really could care less if mice lived OUTSIDE my house. My plants were rapidly being destroyed. I've caught mice in releasable traps before and released them. Unfortunately they always come right back. You have to kill them.
