I've done this a couple of times.
I take a male and stress the crap out of it. heat, light, pH they all work to some degree. He eventually will throw some pistils once he does bring him out of stress if you can.
If everything goes right he will self and make beans. You now have him beans. Just like fem beans in reverse .
when you need a male you have one.
back in the day I would try and do this with my best male from each seed run. 50/50 success rate.
when it works the beans come out to be near clones of the parent plant. I can't say 100% males but never got female from any him beans I've made.
Been most handy when you have a bad ass male you want to keep but don't like keeping them around.
These techniques are discussed in most breeding books but not commonly practiced.
