Smoke report, Green and purple phenos

Smoke report, Green and purple phenos

I grew a pack of these and ended up with three green and two purple- all fruity/grape smells with one green pheno being a real standout- smells like grape fruit juice as others here have reported as well.

I kept a purple and a green- all yielded nicely, with the green being more dense and heavier. Moderate feeding- nothing difficult about them.

The green pheno is more fruity and flavorful, and as much as I love looking at the purple one, I prefer smoking the green! They both have a tart, fermented fruit smell and flavor and can be smoked freshly dry off the plant- unlike the pure sativas that may need a longer cure.

They both have a nice hybrid effect, with an enjoyable ride up for the first 30 minutes thats great for conversation- nice warm social effect with a mild body buzz. Good daytime smoke but still has a relaxing finish. Moderate potency and good duration.

I wish I had another pack of these, but I have two packs of the Malawi/PCK 47 x new malawi killer, (R/D) so I will be more deeply exploring this genetic line. Thanks ACE and my fellow testers!:whee:

Here's a little update on mine. #3 and #4 have been harvested, although #4 is still finishing up drying. And #5 is just about done at about 10 weeks so far.

Here's #5

Day 50 and my purple pheno is fading on its own. Are there any known fast finishing phenos of this strain? Light intensity and feed identical to the other two. Maybe this pheno is more sensitive to light?

Yep Pepe, I think we have similar tastes. I also prefer the purple ones with more sativa influence ;)
Although the green ones are also interesting for more couchlock effects and for usually having quite different terpenes compared with the colorful expressions. Guess it's nice to have both to alternate.

Take care and all the best for 2021! :)

Shared pleasure Dubi!

I guess i prefer the purple one, more of a punch out of it. Green seems nice, kind of a creeper high, clear at first but then turns out you got no will to move anymore lol.

Thank you so much for your feedback MIGreenman  Glad you find them easy and pleasing to grow and smoke.

I appreciate A LOT your feedback on the different strains and for sharing your lab results of CBD #1 and many ACE sativa strains

Curious to follow and know your opinion about the new Malawi/PCK 47 x New malawi Killer cross, it's somewhat a backcross to Malawi line, but the colors should be still quite easy to find.

Bravo kamyo! The flowers of your latest Malawi x PCK purple pheno look simply superb!

You are getting enough experience to recognize and select the best PCK and PCK hybrid expressions and to figure out how they suit best into your breeding projects!

Looking great saitama at the end of flowering :)

There are some more PCK dominant Malawi x PCK phenos that can be perfectly harvested in 8 weeks, but most take between 9-11 weeks to finish, as stated in the strain description.

Yours looks a very nice and balanced sativa/indica pheno. Most probably it will be ready in 9 weeks or a few days more, up to your taste.

Waiting for them to arrive

hi, just ordered 10 seeds of this wonder. my idea would be to grow 9 in 11 liter pots using the yield in the columnar top, and select 4 clones to grow in larger pots. how about?

I read a lot here on the forum and saw a lot of photos but I couldn't get an idea of ??what to expect in terms of yield per m2. and I wanted to ask which option you think is better, 9 jars of 11 liters or 4 jars of 25 liters. naturally changing technique and growth times. thanks

I managed to cross one of these to gt3 longer flower male I have one plant at 5 weeks and it reminds me of one phenotype of pure gt 3 or Malawi x gt3 bud structure small buds lemon honey smell but with red burgundy color of pck no pck smell and I crossed it to purple honduras haze males
This mxpck is a favorite of mine unfortunately I need more seeds I didn't reproduce it pure
Purple Haze Malawi x pck Malawi has been a dream of mine for a while don't copy me lol
Still I think it's a good cross close to what I have been dreaming about

I tend to prefer individual containers in case you need to move things around either due to height or harvest. Three plants in one pot can quickly become one big plant and two others struggling for light. Individual pots/jars allow you to make adjustments and move bigger plants away from shorter ones. Since this is a hybrid of two dfferent strains, some will be more Malawi (tall), and some will show more PCK (short) structure.
