Malawi x Panama

Thanks to you @spacetraveller :) Very impressive development after 83 days of flowering, she was happy with the feeding and still wanted to continue reflowering in your last post.
How long did you accompany her ? How did she finish ?
Thanks for your response Dubi. I let the 1 st female flower for 12 weeks. She is moderate in strength and a great daytime strength smoke. Easy on the lungs and excellent effects. My friends and family love it too despite being immature imo.
I did let a 2nd female flower to 16 weeks, and tried a few tricks in the last weeks to attempt a proper finish, despite the trying conditions . It was somewhat successful in that she finished a little better with more resin production, but imo was still not perfect. Early testing of this 2nd female is she is very strong and trippy in effects. Too much for daytime use, but great for relaxing and getting wasted. A little more time curing will be interesting I think! Love it :)
Thanks again Dubi, and Ace for the great genetics.

I took her at day 72, she has a very similar scent to the Mal x PCK with the Malawi wood/incense up front but the Panama terps (fruity/berry/yummy🤤) really make her shine.
Lol, you are right dubi, there are only a few I haven’t tried or don’t possess, Ka5 being one I need to grab, but I did put a super Malawi haze in the dirt this weekend 🤪

you are absolutely right @MrHamilton those loud lemony incensey terps from Panama and from some Malawi outcrosses are a real terpene bomb combined in Malawi x Panama :) Looking forward to follow your Super Malawi Haze grow!

Glad you like this sativa F1 @spacetraveller heheheh when properly ripe this cross is usually too strong for most for daytime use (especially if you need to work or face others). Thanks to you for your support and feedback! ;)

Hello everyone, I have 3x Malawi x Panama in a 2x4 tent. Recirculating rockwool. Photos of all 3 below. These are at 74 days and were flowered very soon after sprouting. I'm curious if anyone has any insight into the nutrition requirements of these and similar plants (I have golden tiger started, seeds for panama x malawi, malawi and zamaldelica). My tap water is 0.3ec, the total reservoir ec is currently 1.0. The threshold for burning seems to have been above 1.5ec at the end of stretch and dropped to somewhere below 1.2 over the last several weeks. HGV nutrients used for this, but I'm starting to experiment with mixing my own salts.

Welcome to this room @abcd1234 :) and thanks for sharing your ACE sativa grow with us, great looking flowers already ripening there!

It's not easy to adjust correctly the same feeding for different plants of different strain, each one with different feeding requirements. If you have taken clones of the plants, you will be able to adjust better the feeding for each plant in a second run, and start mastering the cultivation of these genetics.

I'm not familiar HGV brand. I like to recommend organic fertilizers such as Bio Canna.

Malpans 10 days old.
Temps are on the hot side. Weather here in the mediteranean is still like summer and hps is not helping but doesnt seem to bother them much.
Remember when i was a kid going to school at this time of the year i was already wearing hoodies.
Climate change is real..
Greetings

Hello everyone :)

Veg of malawi x panamas is progressing. Topped a few days ago and now new stems are growing vigorously and healthy. As always very vigorous growth with ace genetics
In about a week im transplanting in fresh organic supersoil, maybe do a second topping and then flip.
i also have some malawis going and a zam x a5 haze. As always popped more seeds than i could fit in the tent., but cant resist. God knows how im gonna fit them all in there. :ROFLMAO:

Cheers everyone
:canabis:

Thanks George.. I started out at 12/12 for the first 5 weeks and I have been slowly cutting the hours back every 10 days.. she is at 11 1/2 on and 12 1/2 off. .I think she will be coming down in a couple weeks as I am revegging so I ill take her a bt early as I don't have the room for taking cuttings of the 13 I have in flower(25 plant max)..she is ahead of most seedlings in the room except the Ox/A5.. my Pan/Mal is a bit slower and has a nose for sure and is really sticky.. she is at 6 weeks as I am hoping both are great plants in their own way..

Update : Transplanted in big pots full of supersoil and flipped to 12/12 a few days ago. Its smooth sailing right now. Not much to do but wait to enter full flowering mode. Im giving aerated compost tea every 3rd watering for an overall boost of soil health. They look healthy and the stretch has started but no crazy stretch so far. Lets see
Plant on the center and two on the left are Malawi x panama
plants on the right are Malawi fems.

Hey George.. they look great and healthy.. I am not a authority on these strains but my Mal/Pan didn't go bezerk or anything.. unlike my OT which wants to touch the ceiling in my 7 foot room as this plant is about 4 foot with average branching with big calayx's.. nice buds so hope you get an awesome harvest
