Malawi x Panama- Journey to Autoflower

The ones grown directly in the soil look really good yielding. Were you satisfied with the effect of the flowers compared to Malawi x Panama original? In my autoflowering plants, I sometimes find CBD-rich chemotypes among the far more common THC-rich ones.

Yes, I am happy with the effects.🤪 I've been vaping these plants all winter.
In my hybrid, both the original photoperiod and autoflower lines were high THC varieties.
So CBD genes are not present. I have another project, which is THC x CBD cultivars and should have a variety of THC: CBD ratios present. So it would depend on your starting material if you're finding CBD chemotypes in your lines.

I'm glad to hear that you love to smoke your own auto-flowering weed. That's what it's all about, and that's how I usually feel too. However, you can potentially find all kinds of phenotypes and chemotypes in the F2 generation. Ruderalis genes can also appear. I think I made mistakes in selection early on in my breeding efforts with autoflowers. There was just one plant at some point that looked impeccable, smelled good, but almost didn't get me high at all. If I had to guess, I would say that currently about every 10th of my self-created autoflowering plants is like this. Be that as it may, I can live with that... the other 9 are as I would like them to be, only a little less long lasting than the photoperiodically flowering originals.

Here are a few more pics of the harvest last Fall. The MPD auto has a lot of leaves, which is something I hope to have worked on in the latest generation of breeding I just did. Here are a few pics of them with some of the fan leaves taken off.

Even the runts had some huge buds.

I like to see these knuckles on the branches.

This is a shot of the roots growing through the transplant cup. This year, I'm going to do a side-by-side experiment with this method and direct planting in the ground.

Nice work! I can definitely see the MP influence in bud shape. They are so squat and thick! 😆
