Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I found no light leak ,I'm going to keep it till I have something else to put in there. I started some orient express and some Warlock. SO she has about 4 or 5 weeks to prove herself or she's got to go.:tumbleweed: I need to stock up on the hybrids and then I'll try again..:chin:

So it is just the specific pheno? Sucks that it isn't something you can fix... I was hoping you had a light leak too so you could at least flower it even late...

If there's no light contamination, then rooting system has been 'stunned',shocked,at some point during their growth
Had the same in my first ever grow, with a greek landrace sativa, where a combination of too much N,and, rushed repot produced a plant,an exact copy of what your girls are showing
Take your time with OE my friend
You might be fortunate and find the Extreme Vietnamese Black pheno

OE.....I think I have 2 different phenos. (fingers crossed) Hard to tell. as they haven't been sexed yet. One is tall and lanky and the other is more bushy. I'm hoping the differences are not male and female. I'll do a grow log so ya'll can advise me.

The Malawi's took a almost 2 months to show sex, maybe that should have been a clue. I may get another tropical mix to practice growing sativas. Last time I got 3 females , they came out good, but I think I let them go to long.

I strongly disagree with the idea that something has gone wrong here, that's not to say that things may have gone differently if you had gone straight to 10/14 (I have no experience of this).

I have done golden tiger both inside and out, inside 12/12 from seed and outside with a long veg period. In both environments the golden tiger took forever to get going. Inside 12/12 I finished two rounds of hybrids in the time it took the tiger and outside I was harvesting hybrids as the tiger was just starting to flower. Its just an entirely different beast! And a beast it is, well worth the wait, huge yield of extremely potent weed.

I agree OP probably needs to experiment with shorter lighting cycles at this stage........ BUT:

I am currently flowering two Ace Malawi on 12/12. One is in week 8 of flowering and has matured nicely, looks like it has 2-3 weeks to go. The other took about 3 weeks longer than the other plant to show its sex but also is now progressing at a fine pace (ignoring the delayed start to flowering).

I don't intend to switch to 11/13 until week 11 or 12 of flowering as an optional back-up plan if things happen to be moving slowly then.
