I was going to grow the golden tiger next round. but think I might need more practice with the sativas. Can I shorten the light schedule to 10 hours on or should I do it 15/30 minutes a week until I reach 10 hours on 14 off.

Go straight to 10/14 my friend its had enough time in never never land you will see it fill out very quickly.
Sorry for the off topic rant but I was very very high yesterday ha ha.
Here is a Mulanje plant from Malawi it has been 9 weeks from seed 6 weeks in flower on 10/14 from germination.
The plants in the background are 2 weeks behind also on 10/14 since germination but are a cross with Aces Malawi /Ethiopian hence the taller growth but will start filling in in the next couple of weeks for sure.

Wow what great landscaping, wish I was there. That gator looks like he means business. I'm going to try again, but I think I need some similar strains to grow together that have the same light schedule. . Any recommendations?? I was thinking maybe the golden tiger, Congo, maybe Malawi again. Or maybe I just need rhythm drums. :groupwave: Got to buy more seeds. I usually grow 3 strains but that can change. I have 2 tables ebb n flo 600 watts HPS over each one.

I love Golden Tiger its one of all time favorites plus Panama and Zamaldelica with those 3 they all finish around the same time and are not fussy feeders.
You could grow them together all very potent and very different effects, smells and tastes.

This is an old picture of my first attempt at Aces genetics Malawi, Panama and Zamaldelica all on 12/12 to start for a week then 10/14 in 1 meter of head space the genetics make it easy.

10 on 14 off. It looks like it starting the flowering cycle again. Truly going to be forever on this one.:shucks: I started some cuts on that same light schedule ,about 2 weeks ago, haven't started budding yet.:shucks:

Are they being exposed (possibly accidentally) to any light during the dark hours? If they're not in total darkness, flowering can be prolonged. The buds may be a lost cause if that's the case. At day 150, you should be nearly ready to harvest your second crop, not waiting on these to get going. Light pollution is my guess.

I recently switched to a 10/ 14 light cycle, before was 12 /12. I'm debating if I'm going to keep it, just to see what happens. I will check for light leaks.

Fletch makes a good point they seem to be going the wrong way and light leaks is a probable cause.
I would cut off all that new growth on the top it may make it concentrate on the flowering.
Maybe also too much nitrogen in the feed give them some flowering nutes heavy in P K.

Sorry to hijack thread, I also have some crazy Purple Haze x Malawis that at 7 weeks was just throwing preflowers, photoperiod 11.5/12.5 for first 4, then 11/13. However Panama Haze plants in same room were flowering normally, but started to stretch a lot at the very top.

Then I got into the room and for sure I had a light leak. Boarded up all the cracks really good, and turned photoperiod to 10/14. It is longer flowering than straight Malawi but still didn't make sense to not flower at all in so many weeks. Now at 8 weeks, lower branches have started flowering first, so it's progressing, but we'll see... Think light leak was the issue though.

Mr. Miyaki, you have the skills to revive the mess
Have some fishbones for you to grind,if it helps
Caught the trout under the beautiful scandinavian summer constant rain, tripping on GT3 Thai,or was it Zamaldelica 🙂
Added a greek note,to warm up the spirits,by then totally tripping on GT3 Thai, wet
Got a smile from a couple of pensioners hidden under their umbrella
Malawi,I would start all over again
To the left the last of the trout, lemon tastes, aromas inc.
Got the rest out to go with the haze

Sorry to pollute the topic.

But @ Tangwena:

Your plants look good. What soil/substrate were they in? Or do you have a link to a grow log where you describe that?

You can finish off plants, extract somehow,THC out if them.Don't think you'll enjoy the taste of 'too much green'
Did it with a 7ft Panama I had indoors, and, got light contaminated when I had to take it out of my grow room, because of mould
Spring sunlight, was good enough, got my timing wrong,ie reducing time exposed to the sun when in pre, and, flowering stage
I would look for 'leaks' first

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I found no light leak ,I'm going to keep it till I have something else to put in there. I started some orient express and some Warlock. SO she has about 4 or 5 weeks to prove herself or she's got to go.:tumbleweed: I need to stock up on the hybrids and then I'll try again..:chin:
