@Tangwena , I've got a similar problem. As you know, I'm already thinking about what to grow this upcoming season - yes, I love growing plants too, and the cob pile is not diminishing very fast! Time to start giving more of it away eh?

Another benefit to the cob though is that it will keep, and possibly improve, over time much better than the old jarred weed does! It's just where to store them all? I know, what a fortunate problem to have ;)
Yes I never thought I would have this problem but since starting chewing I'm not making a dent in the pile and I'm trying my best ha ha.
BUT I cant not grow this wonderful plant and I have some that keep calling me to grow them ha ha.
Since growing the Mulanje I have laid 140 square meters of wood flooring. Just completed a complex spiral stair case and now starting painting the house ha ha I cant stop its amazing the production I can achieve ha ha.
Its like I'm on a mission from God Elroy ha ha. Cant wait to get high today again its only 3.15am I'm up and firing the days are not long enough ha ha.

Yeah my cob pile is really starting to get out of hand hahaha that mango Thai #4 is pretty good at higher temperatures. I was super high last night after 3 bagfuls on 180. Not much left. I loved the faster flowering pheno cob a lot A.K.A mango Thai stick and about to put some S1s of her into soil to make more lol
Thats so cool brother thats another plant I have to get round to one day. Its so cool finally at a stage in my life where I have the time and the means to really get deep into the phenos I love.
When you find something special it just keeps calling you isn't it?
You always seem to be running out of the special stuff. I have 3 or 4 cobs of my favorite Mulanje but I just know I can grow it better and of course cure it better.
The next grow will be even better keeps me fired up. After every cob I learn more about what that strain needs to make it shine and what the cure needs to bring out the stars.

1 day dry
23 hour sweat This time there was a drop of water. The skin is more moist than last time.
Does it take a long time to dry to touch?

Looks like a nice fat cob @blondie, love the aroma descriptors, sounds tasty! If she's not too wet you could seal her up after a couple of hours to dry her more slowly. If she's more on the wet side then your plan sounds logical. Nicely done!
I'm not familiar with led corinto, or lumbo- further research is about to commence, cheers!

Thanks @blondie for the info. I'm a complete ignoramus when it comes to growing indoors, I only grow outdoors, although the indoor grows that some here have going make me think I might need to give it a go sometime. What am I saying, I already end up with more than I need as it is... but it might be fun to try :)

I've not tried making gummies before, but I have made a few batches of what I call "weed rum" which is really good. I've only done it with "regular" weed but I think I might need to try and create some using some cob. It's already pretty spectacular but with cob as the source... sounds great!

@CDNINCA LED light vs hps. Corinto is columbian strain available at TLT. I have Hps corinto and led corinto so keeping them Labeled to see which is better.

So I had an idea. Anyone ever try making gummies with cobbed weed. My other half won’t touch any form of raw bud but loves her gummies.
I have of course made oil from cobs for many years in Africa.
While it is super potent and hard to dose its not the same high as the natural cob.
Once you extract anything from cannabis you only get a certain combination extracted, the high is different.
It would work the same as flower so it would def work in gummies.

I have taken a personal day today just chewed some Mulanje Gold from Green Mountain seeds ha ha.
I dont plan on doing anything but get lost in the wonder of nature, such a nice way to spend a day ha ha.

Hello All:

I posted in this thread earlier with excitement to try cobbing some of my labors. I'll have to post some pics but I couldn't help but sample some after curing for 4 months. The color is wonderful and for anyone who has never tried this method, I have to say even just on smoothness, smell of the bud and taste alone...wow. Wonderful and for my own personal preference, far superior to non-cobbed minty-green buds.

Good on you for giving it a try my friend.
As you get more experienced you will uncover smells tastes and highs that will blow you away.
As much as I love growing good pot curing is far more exciting ha ha.

I still stuff up now and then but I'm getting better each time ha ha.
Its practice makes perfection for your particular tastes. You will end up with a unique result that suites you to a T.
Once you find that special strain that hits all the right buttons you will be in Nirvana.

Nigerian cob cured for 4 months, smelled like sweet children's vitamins when growing, now it has a strong medicinal smell. When inhaled it gives a minty effect on the throat and lungs that lasts for some time after the session. Improves breathing and is psychedelic and smooth, using too much quickly leads to a "lazy sativa" effect. 😋

Minty effect is great when I still smoked that menthol on the inhale was a def favorite of mine ha ha.
I tried some of the Mulanje Gold Hermi cob and its a good high. I think crossed to my Mulanje it could be a nice mix.
I like mixing different phenos and plants but mainly at the consumption stage rather than crossing them.
Your working with two known effects like that.
Below 2 phenos of Mulanje gold first the Hermi.
