Good luck @ProfessorLefty until you plant your Zamaldelicia Auto in October.
With a name like TaoRich I wonder are you a tai chi player by ay chance?
From the Taoist point of view, sourness and bitterness come from the interfering and unappreciative mind. Life itself, when understood and utilized for what it is, is sweet. That is the message of "The Vinegar Tasters".

Since I started chewing daily, my health and outlook on life have really take a turn for the up'n up, and in fact I feel as invincible as I used to do when I was in my early twenties!
Wow, @Onboard , Tangwena Sensei will have tears of joy when he reads your post. I was having a day off from eating cob today (I had a big dose yesterday), but on reading your post I've gone and opened up some 5 month old New Caledonia and am chewing a gram as I type. I have tingles already!Hi everybody,
Retired old cob rookie here, and a complete convert! I have been eating daily for amost three months now, and my cobs are around five months old.
Tangwena, my hat's off! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing this old methodology out to us, and in an almost fail-safe version, at that!
For me personally, it is even more revolutionary than when I fell in love with the plant the first time - thirty years ago!

Here are a couple of my first attempts: View attachment 18711700
They all started out very nicely, being on the drier side and took a few days to sweat. They stayed light in color during the first several weeks, and the aromas were loud and heavenly.
But - during the second month or so, the colors darkened and the aromas faded. So I probably did not dry them out long enough after the sweat, or between re-seals.
Only a cob of Satori, and one Blue Dream have stayed somewhat golden/green. These are wonderfully tasty!

As the smells faded, they also turned from the fermented, tropical fruit type, into more dark chocolate, hashy, almost black liqourice. Still heavenly, but don't tickle all my senses as much as prior.
The Thai Chi has become my everyday morning medicine! I usually take a 0.3-0.4 g piece first thing at 6 am, and it puts me in a very good and happy mood, yet 100% functional - almost sober - and perfect for getting stuff done.
The morning ride lasts me a good 4-6 hours, which I find very impressive, considering that I didn't use very impressive flower to begin with. I had a problematic grow in many ways and most of the cobbed flower was fluffy if not completely unsmokable. So I reckon if i stop stuffing up my grows, I might be in for even way more fun in the future!
But already now, I love the effects, and tastes, and smells so much that I dont know the words to describe it!
Most days, I take a second piece sometime after lunch, and preferably once the day's tasks have been done. Taking a walk was never so rewarding and exciting! The colors never looked so good, and the contrasts were never this sharp!
Ok guys, thank you for reading! Time to go hiking.
See you soon!
Wow, I am honoured, dear Hombre DM, thank you so much!!Wow, @Onboard , Tangwena Sensei will have tears of joy when he reads your post. Hi TaoRich!Hey @Onboard
Although, until I have matured my new cobs, I have yet to try the chewing myself, I keep returning to the fact that cobbing/fermenting should be a serious and useful addition to the Medical Cannabis quiver of remedies.
Despite that, I am battling to find any information or studies on fermentation and medical use even after more than a few hours of searching. I keep hitting the recent slew of articles about production of cannabinoids from yeast fermentation. Nothing about fermentation and oral consumption for medical use. Just the (CBD) edibles which is not the same thing.
For folks who have never smoked tobacco or cannabis, and who do not want to start, surely this is an ideal and least damaging way of getting the medicinal benefits into the patient?
And then you add the long-lasting effects/relief nature of the fermented plant, the thc, the cannabinoids and the terpenes.
And as a final bonus, the clear-headed and motivationally-productive nature of the high-not-stone.
For people stuck in a wheelchair due to motor neurone decline, or those who suffer from persistent epilepsy, I couldn't imagine anything more effective or natural and organic to help make it through the day.

Looking good brother your getting the feel all right its using your accrued knowledge of the process from observation as they cure plus your sense of smell thats the secret to keeping the terps you like.Hi everybody,

The new New Caledonia cob is working nicely now. Mrs DM caved in about 2 hrs ago and had 0.16g. 0,16g is nothing and she's as high as a kite!
I hope also that one day you are able grow "the real thing" too.

Thats interesting man I have always had an interest in Tai Chi.@TaoRich , I thought as much with the Toa part. I'm a bit of a Taoist myself and a Tai chi player.
Ah, no but might as well be, I can’t take more than 20 min in the sun without being mistaken for a boiled lobsterYour not a pomme by any chance? Ex pomme myself but now an Aussie after the lobotomy and 40 years in the sun ha ha.
Thank you Hombre, I had a blast too! I was in a super good mood all night, although pretty disoriented at times, he he! A bit tired yesterday, but today I'm back at nineteen again!Wow, thank you Onboard.

I'm a 0.3-0.4g person it seems. Had an extra tiny little bit of fresh on top today and it put me down like I've not been for years -in a good wayThank you Hombre, I had a blast too! No I can completely understand Mrs DM!
Because I seem to be a bit of a lightweight myself, and tend to do best in the 0.3-0.4g range so far. A bit of a ceiling issue maybe? Dont know if it is due to me or my current batch of medicine, but I do intend to try and figure it out! One of these days
Thank you so much brother! And thank you for the nice close-ups!Looking good brother your getting the feel all right its using your accrued knowledge of the process from observation as they cure plus your sense of smell thats the secret to keeping the terps you like.

That Mulanje sure has made some ripples already. As soon as I saw Mulanje mentioned I jumped onto a pack of Pinapple Banana Bud from Vermont Seeds, (plus a pack of Vermontmans Zacateca Tribute), which I intend to grow out very soon. No idea if it is in anyway related to your Mulanje, but I knew I had to get it!Thats interesting man I have always had an interest in Tai Chi.
I practiced Wado Ryu Karate most of my life and one of my esteemed instructors was into it along with his Karate.
Great way to get into the universe through movement control I love performing kata slowly while high on Cob especially the Mulanje you can get deep inside the energy flow its mind blowing.
Well most everything is on Mulanje cob ha ha but its what I love doing.
Its so great to have this key to the natural wonders of the world we are all loosing due to the pressures of modern life.
Its amazing how we can get pleasure from the smallest simplest things we normally never notice.
