Thanks very much all, appreciate it, I have learned so much from all your threads and it feels nice to be able to post something back.
Dubi will take opportunity again to thank you again and all others who have made these genetics available and continue to do so. They have added a whole dimension of enjoyment and excitement to cannabis for me who was only aware of the classic Dutch and American hybrids.
I tried an early sample of a purple Malawi that finished drying yesterday. Isn't it odd that I have 4 that have purpled? In regards to finding the lot number, I didn't save the package, and got the Malawi before I realized Ace shipped direct to where I was (I now of course order directly from the Ace site).
I like the smell and taste very much, unique, subtle and layered. Fruity, mild sweet berry, with almost a nasal clearing effect with a peppery spicy background that I feel will become more pronounced with cure. The high was already a nice positive and relatively strong high that makes me very excited for the potency of the other phenos, especially Malawi 1.
What is this idea proliferated that indicas are better tasting than sativas, especially pure sativas?
I've cut down two of the four purple Malawi's that have rather small buds. They smell and taste incredible. Richly sweet with a sort of rounded out green mango taste hard to describe I like Dubies mandarin association. More enjoyable and pleasant aroma than the vast majority of commercial hybrid strains I've had, one of the more satisfying aromas I've come across.
